Outsider is #1 most charts before Genie comeback plus the albums sales are not bad , about 8000 cds. They have big chance to win mubank July 3rd . Just hope digitals have really high scores + fan votes can help .

Unfortunately no viewer vote points because Genie wasn't released at the time vote mails were sent out. And also no airplay points for same reason. So we are only going to have digital sales points on Jul 3rd.

Also this week's Music Bank I don't know how they are going to do the awards. It's the 2009 First Half special and they just might cancel the weekly chart part and do a First Half awards. Then our girls might be getting an award for Gee yay

A decision to replace SNSD's controversal album cover, Netizens applaude for SM's “quick response”

Netizens are applauding to SM's quick response.

SNSD, the biggest issue of this summer, released the album cover of upcoming 2nd mini-album on the 22nd, but people criticized the image of aircraft, which resembled Zero-sen. As the criticism grew, SNSD's management company decided to immediately delete the controversial image. On the 23rd, SM Ent said, "We inserted military icons in the album cover, but we are going to delete those because some are misinterpreted from what we have intended", and added "We will delete the image and replace it with T-20 which is developed and produced in Korea".

In response to the step taken by the management company for unintended but controversial issue, most of Netizens viewed it as a "regrettable but a proper decision".

One Netizen said "It's good that they quickly reacted to the criticism before the comeback. If they ignored this issue and only gave excuses, the situation would have gotten worse". Another said, "deleting the pic will be better for SNSD".

Meanwhile, SNSD's new single "Tell me your wish" topped various charts in just one day after its release, and is about to extend "Gee" syndrome.

SNSD's 2nd mini album title song "Tell me your wish" was released through various mp3 sites on the 22nd. Shortly after the release, the song topped real time charts, and after a short while, it reached #1 in daily charts. After the day from its initial release, the ranking is shooting up even higher. Entering Melon chart as #6 surprised many people who work in music industry. Considering that "Gee" entered the chart as #10, the new song is getting a lot of popularity. The song reached #1~2 in almost every mp3 charts foreshadowing another SNSD syndrome.

I was read through ssf article and said the album cover is gonna be changed coz of their Nazi speculation!!
So new cover?? Means new shot for the girls? That so fast if the album is gonna released of 29th!

This plane whatever is really stupid. It's just another overblown nonissue. There is a certain process behind how these "news" comes up and I will have something to say about it later.

Bugs No 1 is a great news. It is the first actual chart ranking we got. Yesterday's charts were realtime snapshots so they dont really count but Bugs is one of the charts counted for Music Bank etc.

In a few hours we will get Genie's ranking on the Melon chart. This is the one most waited right now as it is the biggest chart. Most songs debut Melon at 60ish position. The record is Gee's debut of course at position 10. Genie is expected to debut between 20 ~ 10 but let's hope it can do better.

Some debut songs had placed for 20-30 but for this comeback song the girls done better than that!! Lol~ I thought it was no 1 already on Melon? Not yet huh?? hehe..
IDK Bugs is the one that counted apart from MuBank!! If that's that's great the girls had already on 1st place!~

So I went to a few Music Ranking Charts and they still haven't changed the rankings yet since it's around 3-4am in South Korea right now.

BUT. Good news! I finally spotted SNSD's new single Genie on MusicOn Top 100!
Although it's not the biggest Music Chart in Korea, at least this is something!

Nope, from what I know, their digital sales would not be greatly affected by their album being postponed because digital and album sales are totally different - ones online, whilst the other is offline =)
