No, is not that BYJ and Rain have a share in SM. I think the article is not clear enough. There are three company who have the highest increase in their stock : 1) SM , with over 50%, 2)BYJ company, 3) Rain.

I don't think it has anything to do with the album cover. It's not like Genie is the best song out there. There are bound to be others. There's a reason why #1 is #1. I still prefer Into the New World and Girls' Generation over their latest songs.
