Edit : Concerning the WG comparisons, they look a like yeah. But I won't say that HyunAh has that leader vibe since for me the definition of the leader is one who leads and takes care of the group and not the one who gets lots of screentime. HyunAh is HyunAh there and I would say that Jihyun is a mix of Sun Ye (especially when the two perform, they look alike) and Sun Mi, because of the little bit of personality we've seen so far

080209~ YHC ‘SNSD and 2NE1 are already seniors?’



On July 31st, KBS 2TV Broadcast “Yoo Hwi Chul’s Sketchbook” was holding the summertime special. And 4 Minute, a newcomer shocked YHC for calling SNSD and 2NE1 seniors.


4 Minute with their single song ‘Hot Issue’ made the guys audience cheering enthusiastically and they were well-received. MC Yoo Hwi Chul commented 4 Minute’s performance, “Really great”. This girl group has certainly rising in popularity in the music industry.


4 Minute also says, “We are learning a lot when we monitor the stage of SNSD and 2NE1″. 4 Minute calls SNSD and 2NE1 ‘Sunbaenim’ (T/N : Senior) and Yoo Hwi Chul was surprised and said, “Those girls are already seniors?” which made the audience laughed even harder.

and for the article above, i am happy about their answers. maybe they considered girls generation their senior because they debuted first and gain more achievements while with 2ne1 though they debuted at the same time they have been their inspiration and achievement also.

Okay, I liked Hot Issue before, but I LOOOOVE the remix version. I never really liked Hyunah's rap and the dance break is hot as hell. Is there a recorded version, he asks hopefully?

I really love their song Hot Issue
but personally i wished the parts were divided up more evenly

isnt JiHyun the leader? she had the least parts i thought.
the whole was really Hyunah and Jiyoon, nothing wrong with that,
but i like equality.

I'm a lurker in the 4minute thread but I was happy for them when I found out this just moments ago and I wanted to share with all fans. I'm not a hardcore fan, but I like this group especially Jiyoon and Gayoon. Also, I dislike it when so many keep on comparing with my other favorite girl group 2NE1 and bringing this group down. Why can't a person like two groups at once? Anyway, here's the good news!

4Minute is Rookie for the month of August



‘August’s Rookie Music Awards’ sponsored by Korea Cultural, Physical Education and Tourism Bureau and held by Korea Contents Promotions Centre, was held on 4th August at 10.30am in Seoul.

For the awards ceremony this time, 4Minute has won the new music category while Apollo18 has won the indie music category.
Group 4Minute won with ‘Hot Issue’ which is written by the same person who did Jewelry’s ‘Everyone Shh’, is a hook song with a candy funk feel.

The Hyuna/Sunye comparison is not about screentime...but about their energy, and presence.
they are both very similar in many ways... imo screentime has nothing to do with it.

The Mighty Mouth teaser was kinda of ehhh.. but I like how Hyuna came out walking....
I hope the mv is slightly better, because it looks like the girls are just standing there, doing
some random dances.

Son DamBi, Lee MinWoo and 4Minute HyunA to be featured in Brave Brothers’ 1st single album



It has been confirmed that singers Son DamBi, Lee MinWoo, 4Minute HyunA will be the artistes featured in the upcoming 1st single album ‘Attitude’ by the Brave Brothers to be released on 18th August.

Also the title song ‘Invisible’ will have Son DamBi and Lee MinWoo featured vocally, and Son DamBi will also be appearing for the MV.

4Minute HyunA is also featured for a rap in one of the songs collected in the album. The recording for the song ‘Invisible’ was done on 2nd August, and coming 5th August, Lee MinWoo will also be doing his part of the recording.

This single album ‘Attitude’ is 8 years in preparation by the Brave Brothers, and he wants to show that “this is really my music” through tht hip hop and strong addictive beats and cyber sounds he used for this album.

anyways i think they're fanclub name should be F.A.M.E
