I just listen to their "Hot Issue" and It's not bad at all : I like it while It's not even my usual taste in music.
4minute is the group I'm really waiting for because of Hyun Ah who used to be my favorite member when she was in WG.
I hopped so much to see her comeback on stage one day and now she will be there soon !
I don't really know much about the other members but what could happen I will support 4minute.
JiYoon seems to be cool to me and I somehow like girls with short hair...like Hyun Ah before lol.
And Ji Hyun looks really pretty ! Can't wait for their debut stage...in only a few days ! It will be HOT for sure !

-I am a huge fan of After School, but they didn't have the extra umph to put them on top...
-2ne1 had the extra spice that After School needed and they were good, but 2ne1 lagged as a group in singing capabilities, choreography and performance... The truth is 2ne1 got big, not because of their skills, but because they were named "the female big bang" and that got them a lot of attention because big bang was already popular.

However, 4Minute seems to have the concept of both of these groups, After School and 2ne1. They share much similarities with after school and 2ne1. The sexiness and skills of After School and spice of 2ne1. I have a feeling 4Minute will make it big. They are a more ferocious Wondergirls. I think everyone will take in this group fast, even though there are other girl groups out there. And plus...their new song is HOT(sounds like Gwen Stefani's style of rapping)!!! and their Music Video teaser doesn't disappoint either.

Totally agree. I believe that 4Minute is a balance between AS and 2NE1, a perfect balance. They're debut song is hecka fierce.

Personally, I believe that the only reason fans/people are bashing on 4Minute for jocking 2NE1's style etc. are probably nervous because these girls are competition, big competition. I think these girls will make it big as well since I'm playing it 473190 times and not even sick of it yet, baha. It's way too catchy for my own good. ;P

you guys might want to ommit the parts that arent directly related to 4Minute or spoiler them ^^ the conversation is really interesting and yeah ive heard it before that if AF and 2NE1 had a child itd be 4M, as for ooomph i have to say that we have yet to see the live and from what i remember Hyunah was always for giving that extra oomph in lives

its nice to know that at least 2 of the members have debuted before and have had experience, JiHyun used to be a ballet dancer too @_____@ wah! cant wait to learn more about the members theyre so interesting!

I think the reason why "Hot issue" got the 80 style of funk, probably because of "Tell me" seeing how that became a hit.
but then "hot issue" is differently than other songs, who knows if the song became out differently.

I can dig the song. Like other people have mentioned before, it does have that kind of 80's pop flare to it, with the kind of catchy beat it has going on there. It's fun and energetic..though too loud and shouty when I listened to it too much earlier this morning..lol. Uh, my fault for blasting it in my ears though..haha xD My friend and I were talking about it and it's the kind of song you can make your alarm and wake up to dancing..lol.. It's such a song for girls. Love it. For some reason, with the style being candy funky and the powerful sound of the song I think of this really old cartoon called 'Jem' ..lol.. which is not a bad thing cos' I love Jem, but they have that kind of...glam girl power concept going on.^^ To me, at least...maybe it's all the color..lol..

I've been silently following this thread since Hyunah was first rumored to be in a girl group, and I'm glad the girl is BACK. When Wondergirls first debuted, she was the one that initially sparked my interest in them, making me give them a chance when they were brand new, and she became my favorite member in that group. I was sad when she left.... But now, I'm looking forward to seeing her in this new group! I miss her dancing and charisma~ <3 I like her hair and her hair color...she's so pretty~ I like seeing her with long hair. After rewatching the teaser a few times and listening to the song, I'm used to their group name now. But if anything, the song reminds me of WG's 'So Hot' with the lyrics like "Again again again you stare at me, you crowd around me You scream upon seeing me, the flash that doesn't stop, Do you want to do like me, do you want to become like me" - credit: Luxtoraa for translations....and I DON'T mean it in the way that it sounds exactly like the song, or that the lyrics are the same because obviously it's not..but I mean it in the way that they are talking about themselves confidently. "I'm so hot" / "I'm always a hot issue" 'So Hot' is more humorous anyways....this one's all like ...rawrrrrrr. (Yes, I'm bad with descriptions..lol) Er, everyone's making all these comparisons, but I just wanted to add my observation...which btw would have been the same observation despite the other comparisons going on...
