You can stop your period by goin on BCP without the off week, or using the special BC that's designed to be taken continuously. You'd still have to allow a period every 3-6 months.

OR, you could take your uterus out, but then you wouldn't be able to conceive anymore, plus you'd get menopause with all the goodies - osteoporosis, aging, hotflushes etc.

Whatever option, they're really really UNHEALTHY, and would bring you far more harm then your period does. If you do have trouble with it, why not go to a gynecologist, to test yourself for hormonal imbalances or such?

^Agree with what she said. What are your issues with your period? I'm assuming that you are fairly young, and most doctors that I know will hesitate to perform a salpingectomy or hysterectomy on a young person unless you are at risk of developing cancer or something like that. Your best option for controlling your periods would be birth control pills.

Just go on birth control.
Or go to a doctor and talk to them about it.

Go to a dermatologist. They can give you BP specific for acne problems. OR they could give you a treatment that fixes you without being a BP. I got cured (so far) despite my acne being hormonal (linked to my period).

Oh, and if you have hormonal acne, then I STRONGLY advice you to exercise everyday. It does WONDERS to regulating my cycle in a way that diminshes acne flares.

I can't explain it scientifically, but basically, the period blood is actually fetus food that's not used.

having that Salping-thingimajigie just because of breakouts is a stupid thing to do.
It removes your fallopian tubes, so you won't be able to conceive normally anymore.

There's also Seasonale, you only get period 4x a year

The exercise thing I found out on my own. Another thing that has helped me for acne was eliminating dairy.

As for the cured part, yeah, it's been a month and no new acne acne in like 2 weeks, and my scars are healing.

hmmm...i don't see the needs for kids:p

but after hearing the side effects like osteoporosis and aging i think i will not do it-___-
aging is probably more scary than acne.

i think i will try the BP first and see the effects.

thanks guys

I heard there's negative side effect with Yasmine after you stop taking it.
