Has your paper or take-home exam ever gotten lost?? What did you do about it??
My professor accepts later papers/exams (points reduced), so I turned mine in two days late. What happened was her office was closed, so I slipped it under her door. The exams were supposed to be returned today, but my T.A. told me she never received it!!!!!!!!!! Is there a way to fix this, or I will have to drop it.

Talk to your professor personally and tell her what happened. If she's nice, maybe she'll let you retake it.
But for future references... only hand in the paper to the professor in person and make sure she gets it or else she wont even know if you handed it to her or not.

this almost seems common sense, dunnno why you made a thread about this.
talk to your professor about your tests/paper, your options, and if you should stay or drop depending upon your situation.
