QUOTE (bonitagirlx @ May 13 2009, 06:29 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
My goals in life are ridiculous.

How ridiculous? I only say this because I find this hard to believe. I'm a believer of the phrase anything is possible. biggrin.gif So don't worry.

I'm 22, I'm about to enter my 3rd year of university and am freaking out about it! When I left school all my friends knew what they wanted to do, but I didn't. So I got a job for two years before deciding to go back to studies. So in that respect I suppose I have matured a lot because I've decided what I want to do and am working my butt off with my studies to make sure I get to where I want to be. Buuuut, I love playing video games, am absolutely head-over-heels for Yoochun from DBSK, I'd choose to watch a Disney movie over any other genre, I still live with my parents. Um... this is silly but my best friend and I go to the park and play on swings and round-abouts and stuff lol blush.gif But I like the way I am and wouldn't want to change. I'm happy having a balance of seriousness when it comes to my future, but have fun and mess around in the meantime. Oh and I'm studying to be a teacher for young children, so I get to be professional but be a big kid at the same time! laugh.gif

yes in some ways online I act like a 16 years old. I voice opinions and misspell words all the time and don't give a sh!t. In real life I act like a 30 years old. My mind is always on paying bills and right now its saving cash for a new car. I'm starting school in August so that just adds to my stress.

When you think about life as an adult isn't fun. You need that immature side to remind yourself still human. There is a rule of thumb

In your 20's you struggle
In your 30's you work and have kids
In your 40's you go through the midlife blues. your old and have the bags to prove it.
In your 50's you recap your life works and watch your children go through the same cycle
In your 60's you just want to retire
In your 70's most hope to be dead

You think about you spend a large some of your life working. Your childhood is only between the ages of 1-18 years of age then its gone. I wouldn't stress things out so much. what your feeling is just normal. For now just enjoy your life and stop stressing. Thats part of getting old and gaining life experience.

im 24 and sometimes i think i act too old like i'm in my 40's already. and then other times i can be as silly as a teenager. i think people in their twenties are stuck in that age gap which bridges their teens and adult time. because of that i think it's pretty natural that we may still be childish in a sense

I am 20. All i ever care is about having fun and fooling around. I don't take nothing seriously unless if it is work.

I'm 22 going to turn 23 in a couple of weeks and I don't feel like my age. Sometimes, I feel like 16/17. Also, where I work people think I'm a teenager not an adult. I don't wanna grow up, but it's life. Gotta suck it up.

My parents are so overprotective of me and still treat me like a teenager, even though I'm 24.. but I do see myself as a mature person, even though I'm a bit "sheltered" in some respects.

I'm 22, still play video games, like to collect figures and things of that nature. I don't feel like I'm growing up. I feel like I'm 17.

I think you just have to know how to act according to the situation. On the job - be mature. With your friends - be open minded. And being able to adapt requires emotional intelligence, which I think still comes with age and experience.

Anywho... I am 21 and sleep with 8 dolls. They are my friends smile.gif .

I'm 26 but most of the time i act like up 18. So much fun acting childish and being silly than being all serious. Obviously when i'm working i'll be serious but when i'm with my friends, we all turn back into lil high schoolers giggling and acting crazy.

i'm 20, which is almost like i'm still 19! or better yet, my mind is still caught in between middle/high school. i still giggle at immature jokes, get overly excited over cute things, and don't take things too seriously. and to top that, i happily drive a green beetle.

I just turned 20, and everyone has been telling me i'm mature for my age throughout high school. I always wondered how a 18 year old is suppose to act as to a 16 year old. But I kind of feel as if im 16 right now, probably because my dad treats me as if im 16...

nice to know i'm not the only one...

i'm 21 turning 22 in a few months and i definitely don't feel it
i sweat at the thought of living on my own and STILL am unsure what i want to do with my life even though i'm graduating college soon...

sigh* i wish i felt more "grown up" and had my head on straight

same here =)
sometimes I tend to joke around too much.
But I have my times where I think and act my age.
I guess having fun is what counts?

I'm really silly. I definitely do not act my age.
I don't think I'm immature, just "child-like" tongue.gif

well I'm 21 and most of the times feel like a 10 year-old... probably cause I spend a lot, and I mean A LOT of time with my 5 year-old nephew and it's hard to keep a serious face around a kid (except, of course, the times when you need to show'em who's the boss!)

I still like pink, colorful things, anything sparkly or fluffy and all sorts of kids' stuff (except for Barbie... I hate Barbie... >.< Mickey Mouse is ok though ^.^ ooh yeah and Hello Kitty!), maybe even more than when I was actually a kid. hey, even my 34 year-old brother acts like a kid when we go shopping, so... ^.^

well the good thing is that I can be serious and mature when needed and I guess that's what counts! moderation is the key word biggrin.gif

I'm 23 but sometimes, I feel like I'm stuck at the age of 18. I think maybe because I still think like a kid and there are times that I'll throw a tantrum because I just want to....but mainly because I'm in denial that I'm already this old. hehehe ^__^
