I don't know if their is a thread about it (if there is, can someone pull it up for me? biggrin.gif and close this one)

But I have been working on a tattoo for about a month. And it's not your typical tramp stamp but I would like a sleeve (i know pretty gangster haha) I had my dad write out my brother's name in cambodian, he passed away almost 10 years ago. I'm not sure what I would like, but he did have a dragon on the right of his shoulder and I was thinking I could get that on my arm with his name next to it and the date of birth and passing. I already have a set of 7 stars in my ankle, it was like a spur of the moment when I was 21 I'm going to have it touched up sometime next week.
I want to get my lower lip peirced too.

do any of you guys have tats?? And guys; what do you think of tats on a girl? And peircings?
TEAM GEORGES. ST-PIERRE!!!!

Hey I'm Cambodian too! smile.gif I love the idea you have with the dragon and your brother's name. There is a lot of meaning in it.

My opinion is a bit bias since I have a half sleeve already plus a back piece and a large foot/ankle tattoo. I think tattoos are beautiful! Its also a great conversation starter and a unique way of expressing yourself. I think girls with large tattoos look totally badass. Seeing large pieces = going through a lot of pain. How can I NOT look up to this person?

If you plan on getting a sleeve please research your artist. I've seen too many half assed tattoos lately. They make me sad sad.gif
You might have to spend about $1000-$1500 on a good sleeve but just remember you'll have the tattoo longer than the artist will have the money. A sleeve is a big decision and make sure to take good care of it. Use lots of sun screen and lotion. Your arm will also feel colder in the winter because of your ink. Don't worry about what other people think (especially old Cambodian ladies who probably have tattooed eyebrows anyway LOL). I've never gotten any negative vibes from people from my tattoo, only positive ones! Also when people ask about your tattoo you can take the opportunity to talk about your wonderful brother. Good luck!

P.S. I plan on being an old lady with saggy boobs and saggy tattoos. smile.gif

That's extremely sweet <33 I, personally, will never get a tattoo because pain scares me. LOLL~ Bad enough I almost cry every time I get a booster shot much less give my body part to someone to constantly poke with a needle.

Piercings are cute to an extent. I think as long as you don't look like you got stuck with a bunch of barb wires on your face or anywhere else it's ok. HAHA~ I love the cartilage piercing.
