Being Asian, I've grown up to being able to eat anything that comes in my direction. Like...ANYTHING.

I expect most asians to be able to do this, but then there are some that won't even touch Sushi...i mean c'mon, whats up with that?!? tongue.gif

I'll eat ANYTHING too. "If it tastes good, eat it." Haha, you so know I stole that from Andrew Zimmerman from Bizarre Foods. Btw, my mom loves that show.

Yea I'm not too picky in what I eat.

I'll usually eat what's put in front of me.

Of course I won't eat a lot of things. Saying you'll eat anything is very irresponsible. Like oh, this crab came from that infected sewer? NO! DON'T EAT IT!

I also hate ketchup and most condiments. I don't think I'm terribly picky in the sense that I'm to try anything once but I won't eat any rubbish meal that a person that can't cook made. I like to have some standards.

I'm not picky. I'm pretty adventurous. They say picky eaters are spoiled eaters meaning everything has to be made to their liking. They miss out on a lot of delicious flavors and experience.

Anything that looks good, grilled, friend, baked, satay etc I'll eat it.
Plus I know a place in LA that sells rattlesnake sausages that I've been meaning to try :]

Plus I'm an avid traveler. I've traveled around Asia 13 times before I reached the age of 14. So I have been exposed to different foods and I'm willing to try them all.

I think I'm open to all types of food. However, my family begs to differ. They think I'm the pickiest person in the family. Ironically, they also sometimes call me the 'black hole' or 'endless pit' for having an affinity towards eating. dry.gif

Is it possible to say that I'm both? I like trying out different food but once I really like eating something, I tend to prefer to stick to it. And of course, I do have my limitations, unfortunately, on what I would be willing to it, such as those duck eggs with the baby still inside. I honestly don't know what it's called but my parents eat them all the time. I just can't eat those because the image of that dead duckling inside frightens me.

I'm not picky but sometimes the opportunity cost is too high : O.
I like trying new foods every now and then, but it still has to be within the bounds of healthy.

Hmm....ok then let me ask this:

If you KNOW it's edible (and healthy), but it LOOKS disgusting...will you still eat it?

I'd say I'm very adventurous. I believe in trying everything (food-wise) at least once -in fact, my aim is to try as many cuisines in the world as possible. Why limit yourself? There are so many different flavours and textures to explore out there. Life's too short to be so overly pedantic about what you eat. Trying lots of foods = vibrant life.
