At least you weren't in a situation like mine; one time I was talking about Ha Jiwon with one, no TWO of my very closest friends and they called me a 'korean wannabe'. Yeah, that might be it. I remember watching a piece on Hines Ward, and he said at one point he wished he wasn't half Korean and wouldn't talk about it because his friends would make fun of him.

Being mixed can be hard because often you feel like you don't belong in one race or the other..hell not even in both because of being mixed. I'm mixed myself and i've felt like that often but then I think about it and being mixed is awesome, it makes you all the more unique. It doesn't matter how much of what race you are i guess it's all based on whether you want to embrace or reject. Cheer up and embrace who you are ! <3

i can't understand why they make fun of people with mixed ethnicity... so what if they are not pure black or white or whatever. if the parents of these children did not mind the race of their spouses, why should other people be? is there something wrong with being a half and half?

I remember seeing something online that said "there should be more inter-racial marriages so that there would be less racism." it's because, no one has a pure race anymore.
