Ok, so first off, I'm 14.
(WOOHOO! biggrin.gif)
I'm just so sick and tired of coming home and just going online every single day.
I feel like a waste of space.
But if I don't go on the computer, all I do is practice the piano.
[I rarely have homework.]
Practicing the piano gets tiring after a while so I don't want to do that for hours.
I come home around 5:30ish-6 and sleep at around 10:30/11/12.
I feel that watching TV and going on the computer is sucking the life outta me.
It's so tedious and dreary.
I don't think it has any good outcomes.
..bags, bad vision, OBSESSION, fat.

I just want some advice on what to do at home that doesn't involve the computer or TV.
but I can rarely go outside b/c my mom doesn't let me go anywhere by myself and no one is willing to go outside and be active w/me.
I feel so wasteful of my time.

I'm wasting every single second of my incredibly short life doing unproductive things.

What should I do to past the time?

firstly,
do not feel like a waste of space.
EVERRRRRR!! =D
got it?

now,, lets get crackalackin!
your routine is shared by SO MANY kids all over the world! and before my teachers started giving me so much homework, that included MYSELF =D now i do all of those things PLUS homework.

i know you wanted stuff to do at home, but i really wanted to say this anyways. xD TAKE DANCE CLASSES. they are so fun! you'll meet new people, learn new things AND get fit. PLUS i doubt your parents will say no, cos knowing parents,, they love sending kids to classes.

also go to sleep earlier! you know you should!

and if worst comes to worst, and you get really bored,, STUDY. it might sound BORINGER than anything else in the world, but dang, it sure is productive!

I'm Batman. Yes you are

I would suggest volunteering somewhere like church or anywhere that would suit your interests.
If you can't go out by yourself alot then maybe start an arts & crafts hobby like painting, knitting, pottery, etc.

Okay first of all your only 14 which is abit too young to start working and not old enough to drive a car
When i was your age thats pretty much all i do too beside occasionally go and hang out with friends

Once you're 16+ then you can start thinking more about it such as what major you should be in, get a car licence, get a part time job, go to college or university and so on.

^-___-

You are not wasting your life.
It sounds like you only have around 4 hours each day as free time.

It's possible that you are just unsatisfied using your free time on the computer.
Spend time with your family? Volunteer? Tutor others? Find a job? Exercise? Do things that interest you?
Oh someone above said to do something with art. Yeah, you can practise drawing, writing stories/poetry etc, origami (japanese paper folding), and lots of other things too. Or you can cook? Or research/read things that you are curious about. Or maybe you can learn how to sew and make clothings. Play video games? lol. Call your friends to chat? Invite them over to your home? Good luck~~

enjoy it. when you turn 16 or so your life is going to be hectic as hell

but if your mom doesn't let you go outside what are you supposed to do? you should talk to her about it.

Sports is the way to go! Find some buddies to play games with - basketball, badminton, anything. You said you're fat? It will help you lose weight too! smile.gif Good luck.

Yeah, the internet takes too much of your time. It feels like you're wasting time although you're enjoying.

Don't feel like you're "wasting" your life, because you're only 14...you have a LONG road in front
of you, trust me on this...enjoy doing whatever you're doing right now because when you're older,
you might not be able to do it again due to crazy school work and jobs to earn your money. I'm
17 and I still take advantage of my time and be lazy when I should be out there doing something
more productive...lol, I wish I was your age again so I can be a little less stress.

take some initiative. like in the movie "YesMan"

pick something. look around for some clubs/classes. be it dance, martial arts, chess, choir, music or perhaps drama.

the most important thing is to have patience with things. cos too many people get frustrated at not seeing results, or making mistakes - and end up giving up.

and always finding the spirit in things.
