Really random but I really like Keiko's hair in this series. It's so nice and long, I'm quite jealous.


Aside from that, this looks like a promising series. I'm liking it so far. Oh, and I agreed with the previous posts -- Keiko's movement when she played the violin had me giggling for a bit too. I think she moved just a little too much.

I'm enjoying this drama so far. I've never been a fan of Yamapi either ... well I did watch Nobuta, Lunch Queen, Love Letter and Prodai ... really didn't watch those only for him since I find his characters so typical or similar. So I guess it depends on the storyline itself. I like how the 2 leads are so natural with each other. They are friends who will soon become lovers though they don't know it yet. Like in the beginning of ep2 where they can easily talk about each other's problems even without knowing each others names yet. As for Aibu Saki's character or maybe just her .... she really needs to pick up better roles because in all of the ones I've seen she's either invincible, boring or just a total S L U T here. Come on, the other guy feels so greasy and you would actually do it with him on the first day!!

Yup, I do like the chemistry between Keiko and Yamapi here. There's just something about their interactions together and how they're giving each other strength. I like the last shot in Ep 2.. the billboard that said 'Love will make you strong' or something like that.

Aibu Saki's character is a bit complex for me.. there were some parts when she looked as if she genuinely admired Yamapi's chara, but just as easily, she can call him incompetent. Any idea why she's still together with him?

At first I picked this drama because i was so bored, then i got hooked.
I haven't watch anything on Yamapi since Kurosagi. Like some of you guys said, his acting is always similar and sometimes his stare is very bleak.
Like looking into a hole.But thanks to Keiko, I think she helps lessen Yamapi's awkwardness in acting. She's very funny. I never watch any of her dramas or movies. Her acting is natural. I might look up her other works.

THis is going to be tough, when Riko is going out with the coach while Naoki with his GF.
when they realized that they are meant to be together, the story might be too painful too watch.
Overall, i like this story. Hope Yamapi can learned new things in this drama and upgrade his acting skills.

I can't believe that I am getting addicted to this drama. ITs quite good and everytime I see Keiko I just stare at her, she's very very pretty and her hair too. Episode 02, i was anticipating that part when Riko (Keiko) would finally spot Naoki in the team and their lives are more entertwined than they expected. Aibu Saki's character.. she frustrates me again here. That other guy is right, Naoki is too delicate for a complex character like her. But sometimes I can't help wonder if maybe she's getting a bit bored with her relationship with Naoki that's why she's acting that way. And finally they (Naoki and Riko) introduced themselves to each other. Love the ending scene and that basketball court where they always meet.
I hope there more Naoki and Riko moments in the next episode.

I feel like she's kind of settling since they've been together for a while (did they say how long they've been dating?). It seems like she thought that he would get a raise or something from playing pro-basketball and thought he was a good catch, but he's rather slow and "incompetent", which makes him useless to her. I wonder if she loves him though...

I don't think she loves him enough. I'm not sure what happened in Episode 3 because I watched it without subtitles but it seemed like she wanted more from Yamapi. Since he didn't give her want she wanted she went to the other guy? She has quite the character because she appears innocent in front of others but she's a different person with the greasy hair guy (I didn't pay much attention to his name). It'll be interesting how their relationship plays out because as of right now there's really no feelings. It seemed more like a friends with benefits thing, but then again the greasy hair guy is pursuing her so it might be a whole different story.


Anyways, the preview for the next episode seems good. I can't wait for it!

I just saw episode 3 in chinese subtitle and I have to say I love Riko and Naoki moments especially those scenes at the basketball court. Anyways, in episode 3, Naoki and his girlfriend got into a little argument but I'm looking forward to seeing the next episode because Naoki's girlfriend kissed the other basketball member in the locker room. I'm not sure if Naoki saw it, but I hope he finds out in the next episode and I wonder why Riko cried in the next episode.. hm, anyways it's getting way too exciting 8D

Me neither. He says in the first episode that he's confident and even seems cocky about it, but then he never steps up during critical moments, which is probably why Riko calls him "baka".

I also don't get his hesitation w/ getting close and personal to his girlfriend whom he was about to propose to. I know Japan is a conservative country, but I expected more passion out of his kiss. But perhaps that's the point. He lacks passion in life? Whereas Riko is full of passion?

I think you're right about Naoki lacking passion. We see him constantly practicing but it seems like he does it just for the sake of doing it. I guess he's just bummed out because the team didn't win the championship game and the company cut his salary. But yeah, he just lacks motivation in general. Too passive. I think his character will change as the story progresses and of course Riko will be the reason for that. Opposites attract!

Nope, I really think he's passionate about basket. He loves it.
He wants to be stronger, he just doesn't realise that he IS already strong. He is a cold person.

About the kiss: maybe Yamapi is just a bad kisser XD An adorable one though XD
I think it depends on the person who is kissing: Shige's kiss (in his play) was H-O-T while Nino one is plain normal.
