So this term I'm doing some summer classes online to get a few things out of the way. I saw there was a fundamental public speaking class online so I signed up. I have no clue how it's going to work so I did a google search to see if I could get an idea from other school syllabus's of the class. I saw some classes just had quizes and did message board stuff and other classes you could watch speeches and critique them and then in a few classes they had it to where you either went on campus and did the speech or you video taped your speech and either dropped it off at the office on a VHS or DVD or uploaded it online. So I'm just wondering if anyone here has had that experience of the class online. I'm a criminal justice major and have had lots of classes dealing with my major where I've had to do public speaking so I don't get nervous like I used to and am getting more comfortable with speaking in front of people. So I'm just curious how other people have had this class. I find out tomorrow but obviously can't wait haha.

I honestly don't see how an online speech class will work.
The whole point of the class is to help improve with your communication skills, no?
