I hate it. I only like and encourage other to use for humor purposes. It doesn't make a girl cute, I think it makes them look desperate and annoying. Why can't they just their normal voice to get a guy, I mean using the cute voice would mean your not showing them who you really are... (okay I was thinking a little too much there)

I only use a cutesy voice, when I am high or super-dupery-overly happy.

I only do it to my boyfriend because.. well.. he's my boyfriend.. haha.. and he uses a "baby" voice towards me too.. which I think is cute... It's funny when we would be talking to eachother in the little baby voices.. and then someone starts talking to my boyfriend his voice goes back to his regular voice.. it's all deep.. haha.. xD

Don't you guys hate it when some girls use a fake voice to act "cute"? Maybe it's not as annoying in others' eyes, but to me, it's really annoying.

just tell her to stop using her fake voice. be really up front about it.
if she keeps doing it, just ignore her. she'll eventually realize that a fake voice isn't making her more attractive/cute. b/c it's annoying.

what bothers me more is when guys use a fake deep voice. it's so awkward when talking to them!

lol, I have friends that have 'cute' voices but they don't use them on guys, they use them for teachers o.o kind of like, respect and politeness.. I'm not really sure, we always mock them for it hahaha

OMG! My cousin totally use a fake voice.

I was at her house and we were talking right. Just normal voice, normal converstation,
then her sister comes in with the phone and said "Here her name here.
She was like "who is it?" (in her normal voice)
and when she got on the phone she was like
'hello?' (in her fake voice)

what's funny is because her ex-bf's ex-girl once called her and
they both were using their fake voice. Ugh!!
After she clicked I ask her why does she sweet talk and all
and she said 'I don't know, they do it too.'

When I try to be cutesy, my voice
doesn't get higher, lol. I just tend
to pout and look kind of hopeless.
But I never use that to flirt. I only
use it to do something I can't.
Once at the grocery store, I had
to get two bags of 20lbs of ice. I
didn't want to look like some
idiot of a girl trying to carrying ice
so, I asked one of the workers, in
a cute way, if he could get me the
bags of ice. I even put my fists to
my face and pouted while saying,
"I don't know if I could lift anything
that big. I just can't do anything
today. -insert bigger pout-." I even
thought I was so cute, ;D.
Anyway, lol, I've never heard the
'fake voice' before. I hope I do
in my lifetime, at least once.

lol i have a naturally baby voice. my mom said it makes me sound old but whenever i hear myself recorded im like ahhhh i hate my voice cuz i sound like a barbie doll recording. ::shudders::....


but i do it on purpose whenever i talk to my parents on the phone so they let me stay out later lol idk why it works but whatever......

I know a lot of girls who speak in a very high pitch voice when speaking on the phone to strangers, guys, and or boyfriends whereas they speak loudly and more "normal" with their relatives or people whom they don't really care about. I find it annoying, but I guess I can be the same way, but I KNOW my voice isn't cute at all even if I tried.

OMG YES!!! It annoys the crap out of me~!!! I find it normal only when girls use that voice with their bfs... but when they are doing it to all guys, it's just fake and extremely irritating! and i mean come on... is anyone really born with such an annoying voice? we all have different tones in our voices, there has to be one tone that they can use which is not that fake and annoying...
