i dl hjsplit just to join my videos together but its doesn't combine. i change everythin to .001 .002 etc but i onlee
convert .001, i put all da video into da same file and everythin its still doesnt work
does any one know to to fix it? i want it to combine into 1 file.

So.. you open HJSplit, click the join button, and click the input file button to choose your ____.001 file? It should name the output file automatically save the file in the same folder as your .001 files. It should show a bar of how much its done, usually takes like a minute to complete.
Does all of the above happen or do you get an error message or what? Or that all works but then you go to play it and nothing shows up (i.e. no video and/or sound)?
There could be a few issues.. 1) perhaps it wasnt split using HJSplit. There was another program I tried using for joining some files.. called '001 Joiner & Splitter' I think. That would split the files differently so it you would have to use that.
Alternatively if it joins fine and you go to play it and there is no video and/or sound - then you would perhaps be missing codecs to play it.

I wonder if hes dealing with a rar or something instead of a HJsplit file.

Oh, good point, I didn't see that bit where she said she changed it to .001 .002 etc.. Why did you do that? :S was it .r01, .r02 etc before?
