I got into an accident with my first car last year and I'm about to get the new 09 scion tc 5.0. What do you guys think about that car??? I didn't get it yet cuz the dealer has to order it so I have a chance to back out if i wanted to. Seems like a good car and i like the black with a lil red. What is ur opinion about it?

if you have time for modding, get the base model and go from there

check out scionlife.com (there will be a lot of hating on the 5.0 package though)

have fun paying for insurance. the tC is one of the most expensive cars to insure. hence the reason i turned away from it.

ricers or people who think just because it has two doors it's fast.

my friend has one. dont really like how plain it is on the inside. nor how the seats are hard and stiff.

lot of teens who start driving drive it and a lot are involved in accidents. It's also one of the most ticketed cars in the US.

Insurance is expensive for it because it is the most ticketed car.

Oh god, there are a ton of these Tc's at school. Most of the drivers are pretty cocky too. I had about 2-3 Tc's rev their engines at me when I'm at the stop light around school sleep.gif

Reliable, comfortable, sporty, and not butt-ugly. It's a solid new car for a young driver.

^ Agree.
Whenever I see a TC, I automatically assume the driver is a teenager. =/

Most of the tC drivers I see around my area are not teenagers. I see a pretty wide range of drivers - men and women of all ages!

I say go for it! I've been planning on buying one for a while now. smile.gif

I see it as a Chick's car, a Ricer's car
and that is seriously what I see in the streets today in California,
its not ignorant, its not stereotype or w/e, its seriously what I see.

but the good side is, I hear its reliable?

Not to mention I recently read an article on Yahoo that the tC is the easiest target to be pulled over by the police. Out of all 10 ranks, all the Scion models made it. laugh.gif

there's too many of those roaming around. although they do look nice and roomy.

Forget the 6, I roll with 1 now.
