So, my contract is ending soon and I'm trying to find a good looking phone, preferably with touch screen and wifi would be amazing.

I really liked the HTC Fuze,

but at $300 with contract, it's just too expensive.

I've been considering the LG Incite,
'

which is $80 after rebate and such.
but the superficial part of myself isn't sure I like how it looks.

Should I go after the Incite?
Wait for the iPhone 3rd gen and see if it's affordable?

If there's even any affordable unlocked phones that'd work with AT&T, that you'd recommend please tell me !

really slow and not to mention its hard to use. dry.gif

perhaps a phone with touchscreen AND qwerty keypad is of more convenience than touchscreen alone, like the HTC Fuze. also try the AT&T Quickfire, Samsung Propel, Lg Xenon, Samsung Impression. You can't go wrong with a BlackBerry either.

ive been looking around for a while for a new phone to upgrade to. For some reason, I don't feel like getting a blackberry or Iphone

I look here for reviews -
http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phone-reviews...erColumnArea1.0

I plan to eventually get a data plan with the phone, but I dont really need it right now and just looking for something with Wifi.

the HTC FUZE looks really good, but its still really expensive.

more phones///

The Samsung Eternity and Samsung Impression (probably want a keyboard on it) are my next choices, but neither have wifi.

any other good ones?

My friend recently got the samsung impression and its reaaaally nice. The screen is amazing and it's both touch screen and qwerty keyboard. Looks nice too; not too chunky.

I have the impression && i lovee it (:
but the only downfall of it sometimes is when it says i have reception but i really dont then it wont send my text.
so i ahve to turn it off && on again. other then tha ti love it (:
it also has the phone charm thing so i was happy to get that phone (:
it has a full qwerty keyboard also, && not those weird ones like the black berry phones.

i love it a lot (:
but sometimes the internet is slow, and if you use the internet a lot it drains your battery pretty fast (:
but i talk more on the phone and it lasts great!
Can always COUNT ON ME to be in the full JAYEFFECT

^ impression has a phone charm thing?! =O do any other good AT&T phones have that?

and I'm having the same dilemma as you, Rachaelsol. =___= .. I have blackberry curve right now and I really like it, it's a very durable phone and the internet is usually good, texting is fast and easy, but I just want a change. D;
plus there are cons of the phone like no AIM, bad camera, and sucky bluetooth.

i think with the sucky bluetooth, it's just the bluetooth itself. maybe you can get a different one.
you can download AIM and install it onto your curve. http://mobile.aol.com/aolproducts/aim-for-...erry-directions

I have AIM on my blackberry curve 8320. my OS is version 4.5. I previously had 4.2 and it didnt have AIM but after I updated, AIM was installed on my phone automatically.

does anyone have the LG Xenon? is it good?

well....i don't really use my phone that much. i just use it to call.
so i didn't really get anything fancy. but i did get a LG VU. it's a touch screen.
and i believe it's 50 dollars after mail and rebate.
if you're looking for that phone charm hole thing, the VU doesn't have it.

texting and dialing for this phone is pretty fancy. you can text two ways; standard or keyboard.
some people (online reviews) said it was hard to text on a vu since it's a touch screen, but that's because they have fat hands LOL.
it's really easy to text and the phone is really slim. so it's not really bulky.

the only thing that sucks about this phone is the camera quality. it's a 2 megapix but it comes out really grainy ;-;
and the resolution for videos is hella tiny. i thought it was gonna be bigger because the screen is pretty massive.
other than that, it's a pretty decent phone. it has all that wifi junk in it and it's just like the LG Prada but smaller and no phone chain hole thing ;D

Yes. The lg xenon is a great phone. I'm in love with it. It has touch screen, a qwerty pad, internet is pretty fast and you can open multiple windows with it, blue tooth, aim, yahoo, and it has a cell phone charmmy thingy. It's easier for me to text too. You may also switch from texting to english and korean. You can also do more than one task. Plus, at&t is having this rebate where you can get a second one for free. I wished I waited... dry.gif hmmmm, I'm not sure what else to add. PLease feel free to ask questions.

Ah omg are you serious?! The second one free? Where did you hear that from? My 2 sisters and I were thinking of getting that phone, since my older sister has a $100 off a phone from at&t, and could use that, my other sister & I want that phone too & we'll be renewing our contract as well.

Yeah. They're promoting the lg xenon. The rebate is on tv ads and signs in malls.

no, it's not the bluetooth itself, it's the phone. I never had a problem w/ bluetooth on my old phone but this one you have to have like passcodes and all this other complicated stuff and you have to set like a bunch of things up if you want to transfer something from your computer to your phone.
and I have the 8310 which does not allow any installation of AIM unless you wanna pay $20 for a program ;\

EDIT; in other news it looks like I may be getting the lg xenon.^^

now that it's somewhat affordable... i just might be getting the fuze.

Rachaelsol,
Idk if you're getting the htc fuze since you found it for cheaper but I got the LG xenon today and it's awesome.^^ really easy to learn, my only qualm is that when you type in IM on the qwerty keyboard, you have to slide the keyboard back in to send the IM. but if you can do T9 on the touchscreen keypad, you're fine. I'm incapable of that though...-__-
