Big Arms To Small/skinny Arms!

i have big arms (upper arms)! i'm trying to lose weight, and even if the rest of my body gets smaller, my arms still seem big. i have pretty broad shoulders, so when i wear clothes, everything else fits but it's really tight around my arms and shoulder area mad.gif i'm doing cardio to lose weight and also lifting weights and stuff to build muscle, but is there any way to get smaller arms? exercises with weights or just arm movements? anything! erk~

Go on a diet, don't lift weights because you might get buff instead >.<
Try doing pilates, because that really toned my body (ESPECIALLY my arms.)

I think you should lift lighter weights, like 5lb dumbells but do more reps with them
for example, f you did 10 reps with 15lb dumbells, do 25 reps with 5lb dumbells. this way instead of getting buff, you are toning your arms instead.

Do jumping jacks. I did them, and lost weight in my arms.

I did NOT NEED to lose there, my upper arm is like 8 inches now. Some people have a wrist that big dry.gif

playing wii sports really helps because you're constantly moving your arms.
especially in boxing loll

my friend told me that pushups toned her arms & made them tighter
so.. they look wayyyyyy smaller now.

^for me, pushups toned my arms but also made my back huge with muscle. dry.gif

I've read in magazines that arm fat is the 1st to go when you start losing weight, so yay! (Unfortunately, I do not think you can target weight loss)

popping really tones your arms. i havent practiced often and my arms are not as toned now lol...

doing push ups is good. it wont buff up your arms THAT much but it'll definitely tone them. also it helps you strengthen your arms. Strenghtening them doesnt mean bulking them up, but just making them stronger.

you should try the resistance bands. they elongate your arm muscles so it becomes leaner instead of bulky. they cost like 5 bucks at wal mart.

goodness, i know what you mean!! i started working out this year too.. and it seems like my lower body is getting thin but my upper body is staying huge.. sad.gif .. but i noticed that when i do jumping jacks or dance.. i lose more upper body weight..

I asked my guy friends this a while ago haha, they said to use light weights, it normally tones the arms and also like try hitting punching bags but only sofltly

lol its okay at least you dont have manly arms ><
i do kung fu and it really gets ur makes the part below ur elbow huge (muscle) and the part from elbow to shoulder.. just normal... and my elbow bone is huge~
although my arm is not huge... its not proportional =/
