I heard average you lose about 5-10 pounds first week...and you lose more the longer you stick to this herbal drink diet. You will have to stick to the herbal diet until they tell you to stop because you will end up gaining more weight then you initially started.
Did anyone from soompi do this korean herbal Han-Yak diet? What was your experience? Would you recommend for others?

I don't recommend this. Like you said, han-yak isn't made for weight loss purposes, and should be only drunk for medical purposes. That, and it tastes terrible

she spend tons of money on health supplement, slimming.
it smell soooo awful. i notice her shrinking in size.
i rather be chubby or a little fat than aneroxic or anything that tortures me just to look "pretty".

i also had to exercise three hours every day, and do this machine thing and those suction things on my stomach and back. during the first month, i lost 20 pounds. but it got harder and harder every month. the longer you do it, the harder it is because that becomes routine for your body, so it gets used to it. then you have to exercise MORE and eat LESS if you want to keep seeing results. i ended up quitting before i reached the goal i wanted, so gaining it all back was super easy. i gained it all back and more now T_T
even though i want to lose weight before i go to college, i would NEVER go back to that because i hated it, and i didn't have much of a social life because everyone went out to eat, and i didn't go because i couldn't eat what everyone else was eating. and i didn't have that much time to study so my grades plummeted down the drain :T
but i met an oppa through this program, and he stuck through with it all the way to the end, and it's easy for him to stay in shape even though he doesn't exercise like he used to, and eats what he wants. so once you meet that goal, [it's not a personal goal, it's a goal the doctor gives you] then you won't gain weight. well, that's what the doctor told me. and apparently, it's working for that oppa.

It helps to reduce your cravings and helps you to control small portions when you're eating.
There are things you cannot eat but it's different for different people..
and you have to exercise to lose the weight.
I lost 20 pounds in two months during my summer in Korea once and I did Kumdo to lose the weight.
The taste is awful, but I'm used to it now whenever I have to drink it..and it costs a lot of money.
