so i sold my fd awhile ago and i picked up an 03 s2k. today was my first track day in it. im running ap2 wheels with the stock re050 tires, an apr splitter, voltex type II wing, and an asm 60mm exhaust. right now the car is lacking overall grip and it needs more front grip to be balanced. when i get back from korea i will probably buy 17x9 rpf1's with 255 nto1 all around

Nice. Overall, how do you like the S2k over your FD?

Is that your FD in the video?

the handling in the s2k is more responsive than in the fd but the cornering speed is almost the same. the extra chassis rigidity is really nice though, however i do miss the power of the fd. im happy with the s2k as it will teach me how to carry more speed through the corners because it lacks in power.

haha no that is not my old fd in the video, everyone asks me that

to answer both your questions, lack of money laugh.gif also i wanted to start doing the s2000 challenge series. i would rather have an ap2 than an ap1. the gearing on the ap2 is better for buttonwillow and they tend to dyno 5-10hp higher than the ap1

nice pickup... what are your suspension plans?
QUOTE (Krn_Track_Star @ Jan 13 2009, 07:01 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
also the g can already run mid 13s stock and the hks intakes adds an estimated 10 extra hp and the exhausts add like 8 so yeah it should shove off about 1.5 to 2 sec off my times

im currently running CR springs, which are a huge improvement over the standard springs. depending on how long i keep the car im either going to get tein src evasive spec or moton coilovers.

i just picked up some rear wheels, so ill be running the stock rear wheels all around with nitto nt01 (gonna daily on r-comps)
