Msn Is Not Working =[

SoI installed Window Live Essentials.
Whenever I try to sign in, it keeps on saying "Signing in to Window Live Messenger failed because the service is currently is temporarily unavaliable. Please try again later"
Error code: 80070005

It's been an hour, and its still not working.
I tried deleting it again and restalling it but ITS NOT WORKING. i went to my control panels and went to the Uninstall and Installed section and clicked repair on the windows live essentials. it says i needed to restart. and I DID, twice. still not working.
help?

What OS are you using atm?

Also can you run Windows Update with no problems?

I've also been looking into this problem for a friend, so I'll post anything I find out

try to log in via internet, ebuddy.com if your purpose is to chit-chat with your buddies..

sometimes it also happens to me, that i cant log on using windows live, but later it works..

Press alt.
Go to tools > options > connections
Does it say "you are not connect to the net messenger service?"
if it does then I had the same problem

just install, or reinstall msnplus http://www.msgplus.net/download/
and it'll automaticly repair the connection

there are other ways to fix the connection but its a long process and it doesn't work for me
