Talking On The Phone Everyday

You could say you're not a phone person and just say 'let's text or im instead', but not mention the 'running out of things to say' part.
ORR you could just stop picking up and text back ten minutes later and be like. ohsnap, sorry, i can't talk tonight 'cause of my mama or something. hahahaha.
good luck, i'm not much of a phone person either, and i hate it when people try to talk with me for more than five minutes.. loll. :X

That's sorta tough. I'm not a phone person either. I don't like talking to anyone on the phone for an extended amount of time except for my ex. He made talking on the phone really comfortable, and I could talk to him for hours. Maybe you and the guy you like aren't very compatible?
Are you only bothered by talking to him for hours for fear that you'll run out of things to say, or are you just uncomfortable on the phone period? If it's the former, don't be afraid. Conversations can go stale sometime, but so long as both people are interested, I'm sure you'll find something to talk about. If it's the latter, discuss alternative options: texts, IMs, face-to-face?

I just prefer face to face conversations! We're very comfortable with each other.. it's just that I don't like having something glued to my ears for hours.. lmao.. and texting and im chats bore me. Should I just tell him that we should talk every now and then and not just everyday? Plus we see each other like everyday, it's like we're practically dating but not really.

^^haha what ssulja said.
I think that's a very reasonable way to get him to stop calling you, unless of course you have free nights and weekends. lol
BUT telling him that "we should talk every now and then and not just everyday" is not a good thing. He might take it that you don't like him anymore or you are losing interest in him. Texting is a good alternative. Even though it bores you, he wouldn't see or hear that you are getting bored. haha

I'd been in your situation before so i know how you feel. Only difference is that i got annoyed with the guy after awhile cause he would call me 24/7 and i'm not even kidding. My phone bill soared up high. I dont really like talking on the phone cause when you run out of things to talk about, the awkward silent kick in and it's pretty uncomfortable to deal with. It also gets annoying after awhile, at least for me.
But anyway, just tell him that you're not a phone person. Or do what my friend did to her bf and tell him to text you during the days and call during night time. He should understand and respect it.

Ah~ I know where you stand. Except for me, its on I/M XD Him and I talked, and talked everyday for hours... but then eventually we stopped talking about things, because we talked about everything it seemed XD So it got really awkward and I'd always say BRB, and never return.. cause I was thinking of what to say... hahaha. I really don't know what to say since I've been in the situation myself and I don't really know what to do. But, maybe you should say that your phone is dying, or like someone else said that you're out of minutes XD Good luck!
