hula hooping works for me, not exactly dramatic weight loss, but it does make your waist slimmer, i see results within two weeks.
i do hula hooping for 30 mins everyday.
but make sure your able to it both sides, anti clockwise and clockwise, otherwise your waist will appear uneven after long term use of doing it just on one side.
as for jump roping, it's really good as it gets your heart pumping fast, i dont do it anymore, because my rope broke, but i used to do it jus 10-15 mins, i still see results.
as long as you do it everyday, and have a good diet.
it will work.

I'll try that, rofl.
But what kind of hula-hoop? O.O
For hula-hoop, I would just do it whenever.. xD
rofl, that doesn't help, but like when your watching tv?
Better than sitting around. xD
For jump-rope I would do like 100 jumps in the morning and then 100 at night. (:

Theres this special
korean hula hoop
theres like balls inside the hoop
that presses against your "fat" that burns
and makes your waist skinner.
i own one.
and we got it at a korean supermarket.
they're popular in korea (i think)
and they work
so yeah..
hahahah

Uhm, yeah it should help you lose weight. ^^
I mean, you are going to be sweating a lot.
But make sure you eat healthy too!~ (:

Oh haha.
I had a hula-hoop that was big.
And it was hard and it "pressed" into your fat too.
But it gave me a lot of bruses and it hurt my stomach like crazy. =_=
Does the korean one have the same affect?

calgary doesn't have lots of korean stores, or i don't know where they are XDD
anyway, im using the adult one (~3-5lbs) which can be found in T&T supermarket
i also do 2500-3000 rope jumping and 8 mins ab workout per day, plus an hour walking home-school/school-home
i'm turning lazy these days, need motivation >.<
anyway, i can see results, my upper stomach and thighs are firmer, but i still have lower belly fat and love handles TT-TT, which upsets me pretty bad TT-TT

My mom has one! But my aunt told me not to use it because
I'm young and she said it's not good for you if you want to have kids
or something like that so I'm afraid to try even though I don't think
that's really true xD;;

i think it's a great workout
at first i would start out slow if i were you. 200 jumps ? that's how i started it
after a few days when i noticed it wasnt as hard i increased to 400 & so on.
now i do over 1500 jumps every day.
as for hula hooping, i do it to cool down after jump roping. [ 10 - 20 minutes ]
while i watch TV or something.
oh and i exercise at night after i'm done eating dinner; of course after digesting lol
that way im not tempted to eat junk after working out :] + i love the feeling
when you shower after sweating LOL
but it's your choice of when to workout

i did it last week and it's harder than running
when you run, if you're tired you can choose to stop
but when you jump rope, you want to stop but the rope keeps swinging around lol
i don't know maybe it's just me
