Lent my car to a friend, and she hit something backing up. But anyway, how does one go about to repair this (it's fiberglass)? A friend of mine says I'd have to sand the entire rear bumper kit down and repaint it, IS THIS TRUE.

TIA!

I think you can epoxy/bondo over that, sand it and repaint it. Depending on what part of the body kit it is, it doesn't look too serious.
The time it takes for me to look at you is the time it takes for me to realize it's too late.

Looks like it can be repaired with filler.

haha that's what my friend did when he backed his civic into something and had a quarter sized dent/scratch on it haha

get a sticker and use it as a band-aid.. i think someone on here had a band-aid sticker on their car. it was i think white or something look pretty nice haha i would put one on my car if it was slightly damaged as long as it was on the bumper haha.

good luck getting it fixed.. doesn't look too bad i'd just live with it.

people are talking out of their ass o.o (sorry dont mean to be rude hehe)

that cant be repaired, your gonna need new parts, also why you shouldnt go with fiberglass parts. some people might tell you its repairable but even if you do repair that with fiberglass, its going to crack in the long run and those are not pearls, its metallic..

i never knew you could repair body kits. a rock cracked my friends lip and he was complaining to me how he has to replace it. o_O and i dont think bondo would work cause it looks split to me.
sadly, some people will never change no matter what you do.
