if not, then i'm guessing sudden weight gain or something.

i got it since i was 10 or something...
it's usually on my thighs, fades slowly around the calves and appears again on the foot; and on my hands.
i will be checking back on this thread for help and post pics later.
btw. i'm 80 pounds. like uhh 4"9-4"10 i forgot. this is not over weight at all and i'm not even old or gotten preggies before. so yeah, helpp? ^^

- prolonged standing or sitting
- trauma to the skin like major cuts or very large bruises
- pregnancy because of increased blood flow, the veins may become distended
- far too much exposure to sun or cold environments
others reasons for spider veins are congenital (meaning you had them since birth but only now they become noticeable). treatment usually involves injecting medicine into the veins to cause them to shrink. this method is preferred over laser surgery.

My sister is getting premature ones.
Supposedly, sitting more and elevating your legs will help. But if your job calls for standing for 8-12+, buy compression stockings that can increase blood flow. You can buy them at a surgical supply store.

I'm getting microdermabrasion later, only possible way to get rid of them.
