Scion Tc Race Car with the oddest looking aero parts

And apparently it works. This fwd car posted the fastest lap time at willow springs redline time attack for a fwd, ever. It posted a lap time of 1.22.623 beating its old time without the front wing by about 5 seconds

Can u say drag? What drag? Car has over 700whp tongue.gif

i'm guessing it needs all that down force in order to apply better traction?

well the guy at World Racing said it virtually eliminated any understeer the car had.

Reverse downforce lol. Functional to match the amount of power that thing puts down. What course did it run at?

theres just gotta be another way to gain downforce... that thing looks HIDEOUS! theres only so much you can do to a FWD... they've gone too far. i personally would change the drivetrain.. or mod a better rwd/awd car.

The objective was probably to build the fastest FF car, so changing the drivetrain would defeat the purpose. Anyways, doing that would cost far too much than to just create more downforce with that wing. Race cars weren't built to be eye-candy anyways.

Internals seem really basic in terms of power. However, the turbo must be MASSIVE to get to over 700HP.

it currently doesnt fly? darn! lol. i wonder how the rest of the world would react if they saw this homie driving on the freeway like that.

So now since he's conquered the FWD class, he's moved on to unlimited time attack, this time with an AWD Scion tC. This thing puts out 1100hp. The front wing is now moved lower lol
