I read somewhere (forgot where) that in South Korea, high schools that are in rival with each other would meet and fight each other. Then whoever wins is titled the best fighter or the best school? And that there are also titles for the best fighter in a school? o.O

From what I know every school kind of don't like each other, and you pretty much get bashed if you get to another school's territory in your school uniform lol.

That's what it's like here!
I live in an area where there's another school, so I'm constantly surrounded by people who go to that school and whenever I'm out with my uniform on, I get stuff like "[my school name] SUCKS!", "[my school name] IS FOR FAILURES!" etc. XD

I've never heard of the whole competeing thing though.

in philly, i think this goes for a lot of schools ? besides the "TOP" schools, each school has their own enemies and rivals.. 2 totally different things here lol. my school, our enemy is the school across the street from us, our rival is some other school.

my bf goes to another high school, and i had gone to another high school for freshmen year, so i'm always wearing the old high school tee shirt and my bf's high school shirt but i never got singled out or whatever because of enemies/rivalries..

each school is different but i guess that could be tru.

Hey, that happens in the FL area TOO! I mean, there's always a high school in every county who...well...hates the other county. Sometimes, they get into fights during sport events and the cheerleaders are not cool with many of the other counties' cheerleaders. Usually, I always hear people bashing about other people who live in those rival counties. For example, my high school and this other one has been rivals for nearly...I think, a 100 years? Haha... It doesn't always apply to Korea ^^

In Canada we have competitions with other school, for example, which ever school in the district has the most donations has to advertise the winning school. My school one and all the other high schools had to say "(Name of school) Congratulations for winning against us".
