So Soompiers, I've been tossing and turning in my bed, wondering what I feel for this girl. I think its a bit too soon to call it love, as I'm only 16, but then I can't quite place it anywhere else.

I met this girl my Freshman year (2 years ago basically), and about a semester in, I developed feelings for her. We started off as friends, but as I got to know her and such, these feelings just kinda grew.

So we grew closer and closer, and she became a good friend of mine, and I still harbored those feelings for her. Yet, I didn't want her to know. I enjoyed what I had with her, didn't want to lose it all in a split second. So I exiled my feelings to the abyss of my mind, hoping they'd soon just disappear. Obviously they didn't, I saw her everyday in class. The small things she do, her moments, her beautiful smile just ignited these feelings daily. I didn't want to feel this way because of my belief that it'd ruin everything. I sought out some solutions on Soompi, reading what others have tried and such. I didn't like them, they all said , out of sight, out of mind. I was then placed in an difficult situation. She's the type of person that makes a difference in your life; a person you'd never be able to forget.

I couldn't stand to see her sad either. Whenever I felt the slight gloominess in the air, I'd try to make her feel better, make her happy again. Whenever I saw her with another guy, I got a bit jealous, but told myself it was ok because I could see that she was happy. I eventually liked her to a point where, I felt I didn't need to be with her, but just be able to be there for her and make her happy when she needed it.

So what exactly is this feeling? I feel a bit confused as to what it is. I've never felt this way before (probably because I've only had 3 crushes including her), but I'm curious.

^ I agree.

She's giving you those tingly feelings that's keeping you up at night. You want to see her happy and not sad. You get jealous when she's around other guys.

You. Like. Her. smile.gif
Your voice makes me tremble inside and your smile is an invitation for my imagination to go wild.

It's also possible that you are infatuated and or could also be.. in love with her. It is easy to fall for this type of girl because she is your friend, you spend a lot of time with her, you know what she likes and what she hates --- and it could be the things that makes her adorable, likable or lovable. biggrin.gif

^ It can be if you are in a relationship with her because infatuation doesn't last forever and you will eventually get bored of her. Or sometimes you can be easily use by the girl since you're so into her.
BUT
Reading from what you type, you seem safe.

anyways...
Seems like you got puppy love going on.
I notice how you explain the situation and it gave me an impression that you are those nice guys who wouldn't put a move on a girl. o.0

I told her recently about how I felt. We agreed we should just be friends, but I still have these feelings for her =S. I know she doesn't have any feelings for me back anyways.

Be a good friend and stay by her side. At least she'll know when she's down or alone, you'll always be there for her.
