Stuff Real Women Want In Real Men

I'm so tired of all these wimpy posts about "5 Things All Girls Want In A Guy" or "What Women Are Really Saying!" Being a woman myself, you'd think I'd agree with them. Unfortunately, this has never happened.

Therefore, I am writing my own list of Stuff Real Women Want In Real Men!!! (And even some stuff we DON'T want!)

(Ed's note: this list is just as biased as the previous posts haha. However, it is an undeniably manlier list and so we're proudly publishing on Mancouch - this list many not apply to you, since we're all individuals!)

[Stuff Real Women Want In Real Men]

1. Real Women Want Sportsmen
Yes, it's true. We want you to play sports, or at least enjoy watching them. There is nothing better than enjoying your favorite sporting event with your man. Well, unless you can go cheer him because he is actually playing. We prefer actually attending such games, but watching them on TV will suffice when that's not possible.

2. Real Women Want Honesty
Seems like a gimme, but apparently it's not. It's not like I want you to tell me I'm fat in these jeans. I don't. I do, however, want to be called out when I'm being crazy. I want to be told that this is the only time you're going to ask me what's wrong, and if I say "nothing," or "I'm fine," that's it. We're not talking about it anymore. I don't need to have things dragged out of me. If I don't want to talk about it, I will say so. And if I DO want to talk about it, I should just say what I think instead of making you guess, drag it out of me, or worst of all - think you should already know. I'm not asking for a jerk here, I'm just asking for someone that doesn't put up with my crap. If you did, I'd get bored, and you'd probably be treated as a doormat in the meantime.

3. Real Women Want You To Bring Home The Bacon
That's right. I'm not saying I don't want to work, but we want you to as well. We want to feel secure financially, and we want to know that you are capable and hardworking. I don't need a mansion, but I do need a roof over my head. Bacon isn't that expensive, you know. It is delicious, though! Career and financial goals and planning are important. I don't really even care what the career is, as long as you're passionate about something and want to make something of yourself. Hey, you might even get a nice massage after a long, tiring day at work.

4. Real Women Want Loyalty
We want men who are strong-willed and maybe even a little hard-headed. (Yes, yes, it's funny that I said "hard-headed" in this list.) None of this "emotional" or "artistic" crap. We want men that are so loyal it's almost a fault. I would take a guy I knew would be faithful to me alone for the rest of his life over a guy that wrote me poems any day of the week. I don't even like poetry. I can buy myself flowers if that's not something you think about doing for me. That's okay with me. Knowing that the only woman you want to be with is me means so much more. An added bonus is that, unlike flowers, that doesn't die! (And unlike poems, I actually enjoy it!)

5. Real Women Want Strength
I don't just mean physical. I mean emotional, spiritual, physical, mental... it all works! We want to feel safe with you. That doesn't mean we want you to beat people up or we want a bodybuilder. We want to know that you are strong enough mentally and emotionally to make up for it if you're not too strong physically. Knowing that if someone tried to break into the house (or simply act like a jerk to us) you'd be there trying to protect us is an incredible feeling. It lets us sleep at night, even if we hear scary noises. Don't think this doesn't go both ways, though! We are perfectly willing to (try to) kick someone's butt for trying to hurt you, too!

6. Real Women Want Desire
We want you to be full of desire for us. So. Much. Grab our butts; we kinda like it. (That is, of course, only if we're in a relationship. Otherwise, woah, Tiger!) Check us out. Compliment us if you think we're looking hot. Rip our clothes off. Literally. I'm just saying that I have never known a girl that didn't want to be (gently) thrown against the wall in a fit of mutual passion and have her clothes ripped off. To be with a man that truly desires us is incredible. And trust me on this: You'll get a lot in return.
