It's easiest for me to organize it this way (from most-preferred/admired to least-preferred/admired)
Artist - 10 - To me, a girl who is artistic is an incredible turn-on. And if they can make enough money at a profession utilizing their artistic capabilities (and which allow them to make use of their creativity), I find them to be quite amazing people.
School Teacher - 9 - Girls who teach elementary schoolers, kindergartners, etc. are the cutest thing ever.
Nurse - 8 - Tend to be just as intelligent as most of the Doctors I know, but also tend to be really down-to-earth people, and have more time to spend with their families than most of my friends that are either already Doctors or are aspiring Doctors (i.e. in Med school).
Biomedical Engineer - 7 - I find the amount of schooling they've probably gone through impressive, as well as the sort of intelligence I imagine it takes to grasp the subject matter, but I would likely find talking to them about their work over dinner boring.
Doctor - 6 - Usually intelligent people, I respect the amount of schooling and time they've put in to reach their professional goals, but most of the Doctors I know (and I know quite a few) don't have all that much time to spend with their families.
Government Position (any) - 5 - Could be significantly higher (or lower) depending on the position. But as it is, I'm imagining that they're a mid-level local government worker.
Retail Associate - 4
Waitress - 3
Massage Therapist - 2
Dog walker - 1
What a girl does for a living doesn't matter much to me, though. With the exception of a job that calls for her to disrespect herself (ala prostitute). I wouldn't choose to date or not to date a girl based on what she did for a living (again, with the exception of a job like prostitute). The hope is just that she has a job she's excited about and enjoys.
