So my boyfriend and I have been together for almost two years. His mother has given me very nice gifts like a coach wristlet, LV wallet[fake] but looks nice, a handful of free panties she got from Victoria secret [weird but cute]. I've only met her once, and we didn't connect well due to a language barrier but she still insist of getting me things.
In return, what are some things I should get her? I wanted to order a bouquet of nice flowers, but my bf refuses to tell me which one is her favorite. I was also thinking of a fruit basket. I mean, I had thought about getting her expensive wallets and stuff too, but our taste maybe different so I don't want to offend her.
so, what are some universal gifts one would give to their s/o parents?
If you want more details, she is about late 40s, about 5'4-5'5, and is chinese. She works at the family owned business everyday and rarely goes out.

Get her flowers and a fruit basket. It doesn't matter what's her favorite, just get her some nice flowers. It's the thought that counts. =)
