I'm taking the SAT tomorrow but I am not
taking any SAT2s.
I can barely pass SATI let alone SATIIs.
One of my classmates is hardcore, she got an 800 on
the SATII Math o_o
And my other friend got a 730 on the SATII history
and his Mom complained because he was in the 86th percentile sleep.gif

a 730 is only 86th percentile?! history's supposed to be the freaking hardest one.
what.
that means a 730 in mathII or bio will be a like in the 70th percentile.
crudddd.
not good. If I knew this I would have studied way harder for both.
look like I'll be taking 3 SATIIs in november.

oh right, to answer to original question.
I'm taking bio and mathII.
If I really tried hard, I could get an 800 on the bio.
but i thought the percentiles weren't that low!aldhfaowdu;ng
I am sooo pissed off right now.
for math...i'll actually be happy if I get a 730.
math isn't my strongest subject.

frickk. actually....it makes sense that the percentiles are so low.
i hear about people getting 800 on subject tests all the time.
darn it!! i don't want to study for math, bio, and chinese in nov.

Hi sry but this doesnt have to do with SAT II'S
I just want to ask is it true that if you take the SAT I, 2 times you can pick the score you want for each section and if you take it 3 times they average it all up? is this true?

^ no. colleges will look at your highest score, so if it's 750, then they'll only consider that one.

i took math II and bio yesterday.
for math, the first column (first 25 questions) was pretty alright,
and i didn't think it would be too bad, but then the second column...
yeah...i should've actually studied. it was much much harder.
i ended up skipping a couple.

and bio was a beast. i thought i'd be more prepared for this one,
but it turns out that i forgot everything since studying for the AP exam.
i didn't really study at all though, so i'm hoping that i'll be a lot more prepared when october comes around.

i don't know how the heck everyone gets 750s-800s on these things, dang.

plus i was disappionted in bio. i personally didnt find it hard..easierthan i thought but then all the time i spent into studinyg biiochem, molecular, physiology was useless...almost all were like genetics ecologoy and evoultion

^ I think colleges can see how many times you take it, so if you know you bombed it, it's better to cancel your score. and you should be able to still cancel your score.

math was easier than I expected it to be...so I'm happy about that. smile.gif

but for bio...that's a totally different story.
I was actually using Barron's to study and was getting in the mid 700s in their practice tests, so I figured I would be fine since it was barron's. but the night before the SAT, I went through my Princeton Review book and was getting 640's. O_O. seriously? how could there be so much of a difference?
yeah, well, to sum it up, I think I pretty much failed it. The questions were so weird.

Well.
I took Math II and French.

Math II, I was pretty confident; I just didn't finish on time.

French? FML.

`Nuff said.
