whenever i go to my sisters place i dont go on the internet or drink pop or anything usually i stay for a few weeks at a time.

I feel fine but when i go home i feel bad about going back to my old habits with the computer and just being lazy.

when my computer broke down, i went nuts after i found out!
then it took four months to repair it that i started using my laptop.
but the wifi sucks.
so i stopped after an hour.
ergo, i lasted FOUR FREAKING MONTHS w/out internet.
never again.

Quite awhile.

It'd be hard to first few days because I've grown accustomed to checking the news, email, youtube, and all of that. But once I get over the first days of "internet withdrawal", it's no problem. If I don't use internet for awhile, I kind of forget the fact that it exists? Like it basically doesn't become a habit anymore and I don't think about it.

But once I get on again, it's spontaneous recovery from there and it's like I never quit.

Ahahaha that's exactly how I am. When the internet's back up I go on it like it was never gone in the first place.

The longest I lasted without the internet was for 2 months when I went to Taiwan for vacation~

I go absolutely berserk when my internet dies. I feel SO unconnected and bored. Not even TV can compensate.

I can go for a long time without internet when I'm on vacation, but if I'm at home without friends or anything, I can't.

i've gone about 3 weeks without it
it wasn't too bad, i just needed something to distract me from it
the longest i can go would probably be one month, at the most
i am so dependant on my computer xD

I can't say how long, but I can say that it's possible to go for a veeery long time.
Sometimes even now I turn on my computer, open up firefox and stare blindly at it for no reason.
It's been happening more now that I've been spending more time on it too, that I have nothing to do on the internet and I just blindly surf.
So I'd say for a long time, it's possible... provided I have other entertainment and distractions.

it depends on the time~ if its school time,i would go beserk after 4-5 days~ but if its on holidays,i have gone without internet for 3 weeks~ haha~

I think as long as i'm entertained by something else [like when i'm in Vegas] it'd be do-able haha.

About a week or 2. A good series, movie or book can easily get me off the internet. I have other alternatives. Lol.

5 weeks. i had to go to a summer program that didnt allow me to have cellphone and they cut off our internet. i was dying

During vacations it's not as bad but I had to go three weeks without it one time due to the blackout of 2003... There's only so many books I can read before going crazy.
