how do you like it so far?
how is the screen huge?
its a lot smaller compared to the iPhone...
and have you seen it in person? when i saw it in person, i fell in love with it and immediately purchased it
at first it was difficult to text with but after 3 days of hard usage, i can text faster on this than the iPhone
but i love both phones

of course you can text faster on this than on the iphone, any qwerty phone can text faster than that iphone!
i didnt mean the screen size itself, but the size of the front of the phone, after you slide it out, it looks big as a whole,
whereas the keypad is way smaller than the front.
it only comes in black huh? Not really my cup of tea, the palm pre. Do palms have Windows OS?

it has webOS
very sleek and the cards function (multitasking) is awesome.
GSM SIM version is coming out by the end of this year.

That's not necessarily true. The touch screen is more responsive to key strokes. If you get good at it, I think its faster than a tactile keyboard. The problem is that its harder to get good at accurately typing on a touch screen. I've been using Blackberries for 5 years and I type quite fast (above average) on it. I've had an Iphone for 6 months now and I type much faster on it. Ever since 3.0 software and the horizontal keyboard, I type even faster. I still have a BB for work reasons, and I can't keep up. Don't get me wrong, I thought the same way for years (ever since iPhone came out) but having finally switched, I much prefer the touch screen. I know not everyone will have the same results as most people will naturally type faster on a physical key pad.

exactly what i used to think, that responsive touch screens would be faster than actual keys but when i play with my moms iphone and try to type on it i notice it will try to slip out of my hands and with my long nails i have to push my fingertips flat on the screen which will hit 2 different letters. quite frustrating!

Juhs follow this link ---> http://www.precentral.net/screen-virtual-k...go-mere-mortals
I think it's useful to have as an option but not everyone agrees. Juhs watch the video and it has instructions on how to install it:)
