Mateo are an exciting, relatively new punk band. While everyone else seems to be drifting toward indie rock, these guys are a rare new punk band. The lead singer's been around the punk scene for about a decade, but only recently decided to start a band.
The lead singer's voice is a little...tone-deaf, but it goes very well with the songs they play.

A lot of their songs are very anti-Christian. Maybe not for everyone, but it's good to see a punk band that actually stands for/against something.
