i basically want a rewarding job where i know that i have helped people in some way everyday. i hate mindless jobs like pharmacists (sorry to those who are pharmacists or pursuing it, just my point of view) and my family really wants me to be a pharmacist. my family thinks $$$$ is all that matters, they don't understand me

Pretty much my whole family is against it, which scares me...
But I haven't wanted to do something so much in my whole entire life...
I just hope it works out.

I wanted to go teach adults English in Japan, but in the past year, my dream changed. Total 360.
I now want to be a musician.
Music is my passion now.

then from then on you can branch out.
no urgent need to pick something specific right away, but if you can - you are envied.
myself. lol. >>' i guess if i keep going down this track, i have. though i feel like a plastic bag flying around as the wind tells it to.
_ btw. could someone share with me the 'why' in the popularity of teaching English in another country? o-O'

Ever since I was young, I always wanted to work for games. Yes, videogames. I'm still pursuing that, but at first I wanted to design characters but now-a-days I might translate for games!
So basically I wanna be a games translator, translator or English Teacher in Japan. I'm currently studying Japanese now, chasing after Korean at the moment but I doubt I'd make a career with Korean. Maybe add it to my list of what I can translate from (:

I had my mind fixed on the medical field for a long time some time ago, until some stuff happened and I finally realised that my passion isn't really in that field. Or rather, my reasons for entering the medical field wasn't what I really wanted to do.
Right now I'm pretty sure about the route I want to take

Then I took Psychology for my major in college, but I wanna shift and transfer to a college of music.
A career in music is definitely something I want to pursue, even if it's not in the forefront. Probably putting up a music school and teaching piano & stuff.
Nowadays, I've been leaning on the education stuff. I've always liked speaking and teaching, but never really realized how much fun I actually had until now. I'm considering teaching piano/english.
