I'm on my sister's account and if she already posted here remove please =)

Our top picks:

2009 DE Mitsubishi Lancer, 2010 Toyota Corolla LE or the 2009 Nissan Sentra 2.0S?

I've gotten to test drive them and the Lancer and Sentra are nearly identical...

There seems to be no con to picking any of them (well I heard the Lancer has paint issues). Can anyone give me some more insight to which car I should pick?

EDIT: We've all driven them and have all come to the same conclusion of knowing nothing. Any more insight? >.>

My ranking system

1. Lancer (solely because I think it looks better than the other cars)
2. Sentra (Nissan's have good reliability, no?)
3. Corolla (Probably the wisest choice out of all 3, but I Toyota makes some grandma cars... ASIDE from the Supra and MR2)

I've never driven/ been in a Lancer so I can't say anything about it.
I driven a Sentra, it's pretty smooth and steady. I like the breaks @__@;
Ugh, Corolla's are pretty ughh.. IMO. I don't like how those cars break and I don't like the car in general, not very smooth.

Yeah, I know the Mazda 3 isn't up there, but if it was, I would take the Mazda over all the others.

For that category, I'd pick a Civic any day.

If you're looking for a reliable car for your sister, then look at cost of ownership and previous year data. Toyota has a long standing track with the Corolla, so you can't go wrong there. Looks isn't really important (not unless if she wants to race the car next to her) if she needs a car that gets her from point A to point B. What I'm saying about looks is, that "look at me" type deal. Does she want to get the attention from ricers and cops? I drilled down in order. I work at a dealership so I know what they're looking for. I'm surprise that you didn't put the civic on the list. That would of been number 1, then the corolla, sentra and lancer.

1) Corolla
2) Sentra
3) Lancer

Another thing is, she has to test drive each one, find what she likes, if it's easy for her to drive and see how all the features and function works.

i'd get a corolla.

it's really reliable, everything in that car is pretty neat.

yeah, try looking for a civic. it's a better pick compare to the corolla.. which is mostly for 30 year olds imo.

dang, i wish i had a brother. =[ its okay, i shall go buy myself a sexy s2k one day <3
i say, choose whatever has better mileage, since i mean, it's down to those 3 anyway. and considering gas prices are not going down anytime soon. SMART CAR get her a smart car, then she can park it anywhere!
sadly, some people will never change no matter what you do.
