I wonder if there are links to go along with these pictures! I want to see them all singing!
I see Stephanie Sun is wearing a different version of her outfit in the mv, haha! Now there are spiky things on both of her shoulders and her black boots go up even higher! Though I can't tell if those could just be black tights or something, haha. I don't like it but it sure is interesting?
Jaycee looks a bit under dressed? And I'm not really feeling Zhao Wei's outfit either, haha. Lose the vest and the gloves, hehe. She's still beautiful regardless.
Man I need to see reviews or something! I want to know more about the movie!!!! I can't wait to see it either!!!

MULAN (FA MUK LAN) two nights ago held its global premiere in Beijing. Director Jingle Ma Chor Sing, actors Vicki Zhao Wei, Chen Kun, Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming), Nicky Lee Gau Jit, Vitas and the film song performers Stefanie Sun Yanzi and Jane Zhang Liangying all made appearances.
Because several actors can sing in the film, the premiere resembled a concert. Fong Cho Ming and Lee Gau Jit first performed. Zhao Wei and Chen Kun then appeared hand in hand and performed two songs. Although the film song performance went to Sun Yanzi and Zhang Liangying, Zhao Wei showed her humorous side as soon as she appeared. Not only did she strongly promoted herself but also sang the theme song. She said, "The director prefers Yanzi more and used Yanzi's as the theme song. I also said a song with the same title, which is also on my new collection. Although it is less known, I have to promote it a little."
The actors were confident about the film box office. Zhao Wei even promised to kiss Chen Kun to celebrate box office success when reporters asked whether she would do something special. As Zhao Wei was considering how she would answer, Chen Kun cut in and said, "She can give
me a kiss." Zhao Wei immediately responded, "That's right, we can kiss to celebration."

Seriously, these two must be secretly (maybe already) in love with each other or something. They've known each other for soooo long and they're so open and comfortable with each other! They should just get married already. lol.

Chen Kun and Vicki Zhao Wei in PAINTED SKIN (WAT PEI) played a star crossed couple who ended up in a tragedy after running into a fox demon. This time in MULAN they continued their previous romance.
In MULAN they had many scenes together, the most memorable one for Zhao Wei was when she suffered an injury from an arrow. Chen Kun pulled the arrow out to treat her wound. Due to a lack of water he cut his wrist to feed Zhao Wei blood in order to quench her thirst. Zhao Wei said, "This scene was very able to express their sincere relationship. Although Chen Kun cut with fake blood, when I drank from his wrist it felt like real blood. I was both afraid and reluctant." Zhao Wei honestly said that MULAN was the most difficult film in her career, because she needed to handle a series of fight scenes as well as riding a horse. Before the shoot, she already spent two months on preparation as she studied martial art and horse riding from action director Stephen Tung Wai.

The holiday film MULAN two days ago held a premiere press conference in Shanghai. Director Jingle Ma Chor Sing along with leads Vicki Zhao Wei, Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming), Nicky Lee Gau Jit and Xu Jiao appeared. Ma Chor Sing felt that Hua Mulan was the representative of "loyalty, filial piety and honor", a character that had a lot of emotions. Thus he did not make Hua Mulan into a leader role, but how a woman handle what she needed to face. A woman who had such a tough time should have a man quietly supporting her. This was also the director's personal view on love. As for why he chose Zhao Wei and Chen Kun as the leads, the director felt aside from their similar figures their aura was also a very important reason.
Many reporters after screening the film felt that it was rather "Qiong Yao". The Chen Kun played crown prince was in tears numerous times. Did Ma Chor Sing deliberately create such a "gentle" Chen Kun for Hua Mulan's "feminist" image? Ma Chor Sing said, "I never thought that much. He only cried when he should. As the story developed, when the actor's mood arrived, crying was very natural." As for the ending, Ma Chor sing expressed that it was Hua Mulan's most heroic performance; putting the fate of her nation before her own life was the noblest.
However he said that if the box office was good, everyone could see it in the sequel.
Zhao Wei summed up the film with the word "touching". Was her personality similar to Hua Mulan's? She honestly said that she understood Hua Mulan very well. Both were very strong inside so she did not need to get particularly close to her. Rarely worked on fight scenes, she had horse riding and martial art training to handle the film's numerous fight scenes in hopes of displaying leadership quality. In comparison to Chen Kun's "crybaby", Zhao Wei was extremely "masculine" and dirty for most of the film. No wonder Fong Cho Ming said that she was "half a female lead, half a male lead". Zhao Wei "corrected" him and said, "I am the male lead." Even Chen Kun praised her for being "man enough".

another reason why Zhao Wei is PERFECT for the role of Mulan.
I watched the press conference today (more like a concert) and it was pretty good. Chen Kun was really funny, complaining that his character's childhood was filmed... and then cut out XD
and of course, the MCs tried to dig into Zhao Wei & Chen Kun's relationship, hinting that maybe they do like each other xD
Nov. 27th.... so close!! Im hoping for a BIG box office hit, and then BAM, there will be a sequel =D
