I love the ARTS...photography is a big passion of mine, but I also love writing, watching movies, making movies in my head (I wish I could actually make movies....I've made some fan videos though, lmao, I do some minor video editting) I try to draw but I cannot do it very well, but I love admiring other people's work! I love making clothes, and looking at clothes. I LOVE ACTING! Does cooking count as an art? I love to cook.
I love SPORTS. I love to play them (I've played rugby, volleyball, soccer, softball, track and field, and back yard football. I also ski, snowboard, swim, rappel, rockclimb [I wish I could do these hobbies more often but it's hard in Ohio!], and I want to go bungee jumping and skydiving) I love to WATCH sports too but I mainly watch football and soccer, I watch rugby when I can catch it.
I love BEAUTY. I love playing with makeup, contacts, hair, anything! I lvoe shopping! I like to people watch too, haha.
I love GAMING. I Love RPG's, survival games, first person shooters....board games, strategy games, trivia games...I love them all!
I love Music, I love to sing and dance, to create music and listen to it. This should have belonged in the arts but I forgot to mention it...lol. Too bad I am not very good at singing =/
I lvoe Real Estate. I mean, I love it a lot. HGTV is one of my favorite channels! I go to open houses ALL. THE. TIME. I sit and draw floorplans to a house. I walk through Lowes and Home Depot for fun. Staging would be awesome job, for real, I would love it.
I love learning languages. I like listening to other languages. I like observing other ways of life, it's a refreshing and surprising.
I like debating. I tend to play devil's advocate, though.
I like doing crafts! I like to make things with my hands. Scrapbooking is fun! I wish I wasn't afraid of powertools, like circular saws, so I could do some woodworking.
I love to travel! Meeting new people and seeing new places is awesome. I wish I owned a helicopter, a motorcycle, and an RV. My life could be complete then =D
Yeah... I am going to stop now. I feel a little self centered, listing all my interests. LOL. But there are more, but I could probably sit for hours and tell you things that I am interested in. Too bad there are only so many hours in a day, and that I am not rich =/ Most of my days are spent working and then relaxing because work tires me out. Bleh =/
...I really am interested in everything I listed. If I had no responsibilities I would pursue these interests...but life isn't so giving...But my imagination is wild, I am a dreamer, I would love to be able to experience and live so many things...

you don't focus. it's like having ADHD or ADD. let me clarify.
when you have one or two interest, you tend to focus and achieve the highest quality of knowledge towards that interest.
making you a guru, which in return, you will be noticed as a "skilled" individual.
I'll be honest. I'm into a lot of stuff and I've experienced this directly
I'm into photography, guitar, education, survival, electronics, medicine, literature, language, cars, working out, games and more.
I know about 1/3 of everything I'm interested in, and I'm utterly not satisfied. for ex: i've been learning the guitar for about a year, and i've learned a couple of songs that i like. but i still don't know fundamental knowledge about the guitar. (scales, rhythm, etc) Why? i'm not focused or dedicated. once i'm done playing one or two songs on the guitar, i start exercising. Exercising your biceps has nothing to do with guitar..
ya, so just a heads up, even tho i have broad knowledge about all sorts of stuff. it's useless in the end.
edit -
but then again i guess it's just simple everyday interest thread. i must be overreacting.
sounds like you're putting down people who differ from you. are you insecure because you don't have as many interests as others here? because you seem to be reaching really far out to come up with reason to try and justify your own being. you try to find something wrong with people who post here but i find it hard to believe that posters here have ADHD. that is pretty low. just because you think you've reached your limit. you still have plenty of time to learn to your content. if you really want to learn something then you'll eventually do it.
it sounds like you've given up or you're limited. but you know, just because you've given up doesn't mean you should try to dissuade people from pursuing interests/hobbies that could make them happy and satisfied.
...you f***ing loser. lol. you can live the way you think, i don't care what you do with your life. but don't come in here to put down the way other people want live their lives and try to change them.

then share!
i'm into too many myself. food, fishing, cars, any kind of scaping, construction, art(minus paintings), technology, finance/economy, business, anime, fashion, martial arts, games(but decided to quit, can't afford time), and a bunch of other stuff. and all of those branch out into more detailed areas.
i've done a lot, but there's whole lot more on my to do list.
edit:
also, where could i meet people with multiple/many interests and hobbies?
this, i thought you stated, "i'm into myself." LOL.
anyway, my hobbies?
volleyball - i love it with a passion, since i was 12?
singing, or rather noraebang - unfortunately, i cannot sing whatsoever.
photography - i'm still an amateur, although i've been learning for so many years. i was also the photographer and photography editor for my high school yearbook.
fashion - haute couture just passed! twas amazing!
movies/dramas - i'm picky about what i watch, but what i do watch, i get hooked onto it.
teaching - elem. ed major. kids are wonderful, and i don't mean that in a pedo way. lol. but teaching is a joy. so is learning!
music - i'm not too picky with genres, i'll listen to classical, r&b, pop - just as long as i'm feeling the song. music makes me happy, really.
cultures - so many different cultures all around the world, it's amazing to learn and experience it.
videos - how could i forget! i absolutely love making music videos and fanmade trailers. check out my YT channel!
baking - or rather, i love to decorate my desserts/cakes.
art - i don't know anything about art (besides photography & fashion), but i mean art as if in paintings and sculptures. but i love going to museums and spending hours observing.
uno attack - i just bought myself a new uno attack machine. lol.
that's all i could think of for now. hehe.

I never said anyone here had adhd or add. I never meant it to be personal directly or indirectly. i'm just using some sort of comparison (probably a bad comparison and came off a little blunt), if it offended you i apologize, i'm just posting on behalf of my own experience and i just wanted to share what I went through
If i can rephrase, It feels like I had add or adhd.
and i apologize to for anybody else in this thread who thought my comment was offensive.
Btw, "SOUNDS like" is an assumption. sorry i can't reach my non offensive tone to the viewers of the post.
If i can make a sound. i'd make educational psychological negative side effect syndromes to having too much interests.

That's uncalled for. I don't think he meant it to be offensive or tried to put others down for having a wide range of hobbies.

I know what you mean. I'm into too many different things to be really good/proficient or have any true knowledge of any of my interests.
It's like I know too little about too many things.

But at the same time, because I do several things (writing, singing, art, photography, etc) better than the average person, I'm known as "the girl who can do everything" rather than "the misguided, ADD girl who can't focus on one thing." I wouldn't like being #1 at something--being #3 at 5 things is much more useful for me and my goals.

Reminds me of Leonardo da Vinci.
the downside is that he was anti-social. =/
well the upside was he was probably #1 in everything he was interested in.
