What's your definition (or idea) of a soulmate?

I feel like the term is being used loosely now-a-days. But it's different for everyone.
Some people believe it's two people being compatible with each other and sharing a DEEPER connection.

A soulmate is just your perfect match. The person you were meant to be with.

Soulmate=My better half or some might refer to it as a Twin soul.

My better half is not only the person who shares my life, but is also the person who makes me complete. A soulmate, on that basis, can be somebody who has the characteristics that I lack; therefore, helping me to learn or to realize what they are, and to help fill that void or gap...and vice versa. Once we are together, we complement each other perfectly

i reckon a soulmate is someone you love and loves you back for being you...
its exciting being with someone you love a lot, but when they dont love you as much, it gets so tiring...
and being with someone who loves you more, is happy...and easy... but you're missing the butterflies in the stomache feeling

I agree, someone that completes you in every way.
They meet your physical and emotional needs and you meet theirs.
You complete each other and feel like you could spend the rest of your lives together.

not necessarily IMO you can have a soulmate but i think that sometimes you don't always end up together. to me a soulmate is someone who's soul and yours are romantically linked together and will always be linked together in this lifetime and the ones before and after. however, you may not always end up with them due to certain circumstances.

A soulmate to me is the person you're destined to be with. Like, it's been laidout for you, you'll find your perfect match, who you're destined to be with and experience so much with. I've definitely found mine. <3

I don't think there is a soul mate. There is not one person meant to be with another person. You may feel like you are destined to be with that person, but you are mistaken. There is probably someone else out there that if you had met, you would feel the same about.

I think a soulmate is someone who understands you in a very natural, mutual way... someone who does not need to hear your voice, see your face on a day to day basis but can feel how you are (who you are) whenever, wherever. Someone who can take in all your heat and darkness regardless of time and space.

you know when you cry for no reason, or you just feel hurt for no reason at all.. or when you smile when you are extremely happy just for the heck of it? well its because your soulmate is going through rough times or the happiest times.. and you can spiritually feel everything from them and they can also feel everything from you.. =]

my soulmate is Kim Jaejoong hahah lol jk.. XP i wish.. but i guess, we'll never know.. one day lol
