what would you do if you were in a fight and winning and they were hurt and said "I give up" will you keep on hitting them and try to more cause injury or will you let them go?

Um... I've never been in an actual fist fight but I would think I would stop if the other person said "I give up".
Unless... what they did seriously pissed me off and I want to cause them serious bodily injury.
But if they started it and they gave up, I would probably stop? x_o
Who knows, though... Adrenaline can make you do crazy things.

I see no purpose in continuing the fight if my opponent cannot fight. It will make me look like a bully if I just beat him till he is injured.

I've never injured someone so badly that they had to tell me to stop. Usually I know my limits so I'd stop before anyone needs medical attention.

Uhm.. If that person wanted to start a fight with me first, then I'll prob. continue for about 30 more seconds to tell that person to never mess with me again . But if I wanted to fight for my own reasons then yeah, i'll stop

And when I let my guard down, that 60 year old lady was able sweep my legs, get her handbag back, and get away on her walker.

LOL, I thought this was about verbal arguments. If that was the case, I probably wouldn't stop for at least another minute or two to get my point across (if it's a serious argument, I mean). If it was physical, I'd stop.

Well I've never been in a physical fight as such, but I would definitely stop when they said "I give up". Maybe, if they had killed someone really close to me or something equally as serious , I'd give them one last punch/kick and then send them to the copsss haha.
I'm not a physically violent person, I control myself pretty well when I'm angry, and plus I don't stay angry long enough to continue to beat someone up, if I had even started.

I'll only fight when im pushed to my limits and i'll continue to fight until my anger is gone or they apologise. i never stay angry for long so thats a plus for the other person.

i think it depends on how angry you are.
when you're angry you dont really care if you hurt people.
