There's a lot of online dating sites and they seem to work, lol. Since Soompi has so many users and there are a lot of people who do become friends on here, I'm just wondering has anyone took it further?

If it was long distance was it hard?

If it was a regular relationship was it awkward at first?

I met a soompi guy at my friend's party once. He was a total a hole jerk rude impolite arrogant, I've seen his posts though and it was okay hahaha. How people talk on the internet is nothing like them in real life this is the truth. But I'm sure soompi people are nice

Mmm, I have a few friends here on Soompi, but the ones who are guys... EHHH, lols, I don't think we'd be more than just friends. Well, there's one though, whom I've known for over a year now, but it's complicated, HAHA /fail.

I've met people from Soompi, but none of them were guys lol. I met some people from Soompi at a kpop concert in my area since we all liked Fly to the Sky.

But there were just random people on Soompi, like after talking to them, I was like, "Wait a moment--aren't you in my Japanese class?! OH SNAP, I didn't know you go on Soompi!" LOL. It's pretty funny. I do know people in real life then by chance I meet them on Soompi, then I realize I already already knew them in real life, and we're all like, "OMG you go on Soompi?!" XD

I've dated a few women off of Soompi. Didn't really plan it though.

1st girl was in Boston. We were friends for 4 years. She admitted to liking me, and I had an interest in her. She wanted me to come visit her, but I moved to Minneosta instead. We stayed in touch. She chased some guy for 2 years. He finally gave in, and gave her a relationship. They broke up. Then she started acting like a real b**** towards me for no apparent reason. I cut off contact with her.

2nd girl was from Milwaukee. We were friends for 3-4 years. We both got out of relationships, and she asked me to come visit her. I did, and she stood me up at the Milwaukee train station. I was pissed. 2 months later her explanation was she said, "she felt she wasn't pretty enough for me." Which is a blatant lie in my opinion.

3rd girl I talked to her when I was living in Minnesota. Let's call her Katie. She invited me to a party, and to hangout with her for the day. I did, and it looked like we had a good time. We were about to go to dinner, but her best friend showed up. Her bff and I had a rough start, but we were ok. Her best friend wanted Katie to get with me. One problem. Katie was infatuated with some guy living in Texas who she was going to see in a few months. Come to find out she never went, and she got "bored" with him. We stayed friends for a while. I noticed almost every guy she talked to was long distance, and she wanted the guy to pay for her to come visit him. One day after she told me she kept going through bad luck with guys I asked her about visiting me. She said no, gave me a bs excuse, and I cut off contact with her.

LDR is hard...but we manage..our finances sometimes don't allow for certain things but..we manage
