I don't know if I am on the right thread, please move if I am on the wrong thread

Yesterday the tape got stuck inside the VCR and when I ejected the tape the film thing in the back got stucked inside the vcr parts, I took the cover off and unstuck the film part. After that when I put another tape in it, it started to blur a little and with some sounds and then no sound. When it doesn't have sound the TV says "weak signal". I tried the VCR head cleaner and it still looks the same when I play the tape! huh.gif dry.gif

Any suggestions?

EDIT (June 17, 2009) Its a Samsung DVD and VCR combo.. I actually open the cover and I think its one of the metal on the side is loose! The one that pull the film out!? dry.gif

Same thing happened to me. I was watching the ninja turtles (yeah I still watch the turtles) and the vhs tape got stuck.
Then I realize that its an old vcr.

You're VCR is wearing out. I suggest not trying anymore tapes or else the VCR will just eat them up. Get a new one ahah.

Most likely the belts are worn down causing it to not get the proper tension needed so when the tape doesn't get proper contact with the tape head (big silver spinning thing) it will be a fuzzy picture
