Hello guys,

First of all, thank you for clicking this topic and reading it. I have never gotten myself a camera before, but I decided that I should seeing that summer is nearby now. + 3 +

Just now I did some research about camera's and almost everyone said that Canon camera's are the best / leaving positive comments about it. But I'm not sure myself whether it's really worth it. >_<;;

Right now, I'm debating over 2 camera's.

First camera: Samsung ES55
Second camera: Canon Powershot A480

The price range is about the same, and the features as well. So, which is better/which camera would you guys recommend me to get out of these two? o-o;;

I'd go with the Canon. It is known to have sharper quality images and features. I'm stuck in a pickle like you too, with a Nikon and a Canon digital camera =X

Its way better. Best camera company in my opinion.

i have a nikon d40 & i love it! canons are good too ^^ try getting cameras that can shoot wide angles

but, I'd say don't get a Canon A series.
I have the SD series and those are amazing.
