It's romanised as "Tong" in Cantonese, and the pinyin is táng (2nd sound).

我已經在那讀了大概六, 七年吧 ... 是真的有用, 沒錯. 可是, 如果不是因為我沒再上中文學校以後才真正的對中文有興趣的話, 我想今天的我就不會在這寫這麼多的中文字了!!

(我跟你說喔, 如果你家人都講國語或你喜歡看偶像劇的話, 那你真的有救了!! ^o^ 呵呵, surprising huh? But that's how I learned! XD)

I've been learning there for about 6 or 7 years and really, it DID help. But, if it weren't because I picked up an interest for the language AFTER i quit Chinese School (lol), I think I wouldn't be here today, typing all this stuff in Chinese!!

(Lemme tell you this, if your family speaks Chinese or you like watching Idol Dramas (those have the best daily conversation examples you can easily learn from XD), then you're saved!! ^o^ huhu, surprising huh? But that's how I learned! XD)
