Hello everyone, this is my project.
I have biology first period.
First period is from 8:00 to 9:00.
My biology teacher is Mr. Gimm.
After Biology I have to Modern Word.
Second period is from 9:05 to 10:05
For Modern World my teacher is Mr. B.
He is very nice unlike Mr. Grimm.
After, I have my third period.
Third period is from 10:10 to 11:10
During my third period, I have Geometry.
Ms. S is my geometry teacher.
She is also one of the nicest teachers of all.
During fourth period, I have Mandarin.
Fourth period is from 11:15 to 12:20
For Mandarin, my teacher is Ms. Ip.
After forth period, I have Lunch.
Lunch is from 12:20 to 1:00
This is my favorite subject of all.
I get to hang out with friends and eat.
After I have fifth, period.
For sixth fifth I have PE.
PE is from 1:05 to 2:05
I like PE but sometimes I am just too tired.
My PE teacher is Mr. Fong.
After PE I have six period.
Six period is from 2:10 to 3:10
During my sixth period, I have English.
My English teacher is Mr. Holmes.
He�s a funny teacher.
Can someone please translate this for me from English to Simplified Chinese?
It doesn't have to be word for word? With good Grammar and with simple Chinese so that I would understand? I'd like to keep it to a 25 line project?

Yeah.. the language bar thing that comes with Windows... or u can use NJ Star.
I think the language bar thing is a lot easier to use... and u can change to english by just pressing "shift"

NJ Star is useful for learning mandarin.. because u can type a whole lot of chinese and then press a button, and the pinyin pops up =D

well, practice makes perfect
if you have mandarin speaking friends talk to them, then you'll get better
i can speak madarin, fujianese, and cantonese <-- well i know the words and their pronounication but comes out a little weird sometimes
but definately practice with your family, chinese speaking friends, or better yet spend a few weeks in china/taiwan

i think ur right though b/c although my mandarin is not so great, its better than what i learned in chinese school. i only took one year chinese school last year and it was about pinyin. fortunately, my brother, who was a pro and watched chinese learning stuff on TV, spoke it so much that i learned from him.

i think if i try to hear the tone and get a sense of how it sounds without thinking about the tone, i'll b fine

Question about romanizing Chinese (Madarin)

For example when romanizing this phrase;

微弱的暗影閃動　老舊放映機轉著過去
wei ruo de an ying shan dong lao jiu fang ying ji zhuan zhao guo qu

微弱 meaning weak would it be romanized as wei ruo or weiruo? Does it really matter?

The above are VERY casual characters and should not be written out unless it's a spoken dialog or the like.

Standard Written Chinese equivalents are:
Yelling at you is a waste of breath = 罵你浪費一口氣 (ma4 ni3 lang4 fei4 yi1 kou3 qi4)

Hitting you is a waste of energy = 打你浪費力氣 (da3 ni3 lang4 fei4 li4 qi4)

Yes, but it's not the definition of project used in this case. Project would be something like 工程 (seems a bit awkward though because it has a connotation involving construction, etc.), or even simply 作業 if it's a homework project.. The definition of project you used would be like a future project (usually construction projects, etc.).

方法 is method, definitely not the best definition of plan. Plan would be 計畫, 規畫, 方案, etc.

EDIT: I just reviewed the original English version of the text. The best thing to say would probably be 作業. There's no exact Chinese translation for homework project (ex: science project, etc.).

So thus, it should be wei ruo. You don't see Pin Yin like Nihaowodemingzishi...
