i thought the bad word was "pok gai" =S
thanks for some of the "hair words" 320929. last time i went to Taiwan for a haircut, i only had to choose from the pictures that had in the magazines since i didnt know how to explain how to get my hair cut >< but since i know now, it'll be easier.

QUOTE
In many instances, whenever people in Taiwan hear Mainlanders speak (there are few in Taiwan), it always sounds a bit different.

For example (I may be wrong), I've heard the structure "你累了是不是?". That structure is quite incorrect in Taiwanese Mandarin grammar. It would be "你是不是累了?" This could be one of those differences.

yehh i think the grammar is slightly different. sometimes when i speak Mandarin to my Chinese friends, they laugh at me because my grammar is different from theirs? the accent is also different, Taiwanese Mandarin seems more informal to me.

Hey does anybody know how to write my name in Chinese? T.T tears.gif
Lau, Yee Kei

(Edit: dunno if this helps?? but I THINK the 'YeeKei' part is written something like this in Chinese
http://img179.imageshack.us/my.php?image=yeekeice4.jpg
Not sure if it is correct though ... o__0)

Does the name mean anything special, or is it just a name?

It goes:
HERO Jaejong and Ueto Aya~It was you, is love

This series is the last one and too bad that there was no Xiah and Changmin ones. Don't know whether that have it. According to this logic, the two of them should be acting opposite a Taiwanese, Singapore, Thai stars. In the end even the subs are available, it was totally like a movie. For the ones that they do it themselves I've seen much of it but like this way, its quite refreshing. I'm not sure whether other grps does it this way. I'm addicted to it...laughs. Pretty Jaejong and cool Aya, couples like this, it feels like the guys wil be nagged, bullied, beaten in the head and stuff like that~laughs.
