me too....i've been going to chinese school or taking chinese at school for 10 years and I can barely read the newspaper. I feel so pathetic when I visit my 3rd grade cousins in taiwan and they can read almost every word in the newspaper, and I'm sitting there struggling to read the 2nd sentence. *sigh*
