Wow, I am on here quite a lot, haha.
Well, when it was the beginning of my Chinese class, my teacher was supposed to give us all Chinese names and such. I don't know if other students got their names, but I never got mine. The actual instructor gave us this websites to Chinese name generators, but I never really trusted those because they change every time you click the Go! button.
If I said my real first name was Samantha, is it possible that anyone would be able to try to give me a name? If not, it's okay, but I can't help curiosity.

路过你家
Passing by your home
~进来踩踩
Coming in to [literal translation]step
But it just generally means coming in to look around, see you, etc.
~愿你人气旺旺
Hoping your popularity to grow/become better.

Passing by, remember to visit me[not literal but its prolly what they mean]
Using my heart[literal]to step[literal, again meaning visit.]
I'm guessing this came from a blog? Normally when they visit other people's blogs, or homepages they use 踩.

Its hard to not know where I stand in your life. Sometimes I wish that I had never met you at all, that you never existed but at the back of my mind, Im still thankful that you have.

I tried =/.. It's not very accurate and good.. My chinese isn't that great and its just hard translating some of the stuff you said directly into chinese.. hopefully it helped you in some way though
OH by the way all of that was in traditional chinese.. heres the simplified chinese version:

I speak Mandarin^^
I've noticed majority of the people speak Mandarin.
well, Canto people put like these accents and stuff on the language.
sometimes, you can understand the other.
but other times, it sounds too different, and you just can't understand.
vice versa.
yes, Chinese is a language.
I think?
I've never really thought about it.
I learned to speak as a kid,
and then as I got older,
my parents taught me out of books,
and now they're sending me to chinese school. :|

It's also the other way around, Mandarin speakers are the ones most likely not to recognize Cantonese ...if they didn't learn both. Since Mandarin is now being taught in many schools, Cantonese speakers are more likely to recognize Mandarin.
There's also traditional and simplified writing that you can learn and then if you really want to, you can always learn Hanyu Pinyin which is the Romanization system for Mandarin.
If you want to hear a White guy speak Mandarin, here's a video:
