Unlike western nations, where you can more or less approach ppl at random, chinese tend on the whole to be very stand offish, unless they want to do business with you. They're generally of the opinion that if someone randomly talks to them then obviously they're looking to take advantage of them some how.

That being said. That's not to say you can't find ppl in their 20s. If you're Shanghai there's definitely places since it's one of the most cosmopolitan cities in China. Beijing less so. However, Shanghai people are also VERY VERY intelligent. They have a well deserved reputation for getting the best deals out of people, so be on your guard.

Can someone please translate this for me? My chinese sucks lol so I can't understand much.

I'm trying to learn the cang jie method of typing Chinese, can anyone rec a good online resource? Or even just a place that lists the codes for characters. I can't figure out how to write 我 in CJ. It's first, second, third, then last stroke right, so I thought it would be HMNI, but it keeps beeping at me.
